    Reliable and friendly service

    During renovations, our water heater stopped working. Reliance technician, Nick, arrived within the block of time that we had been given, calling 10 minutes prior to his arrival. He identified the problem instantly and resolved it in a matter of seconds while providing a clear explanation. Thank you for your courteous service.

    Reliance water softener installation

    Reliance plumbers are great. They are friendly and make sure that a customer is satisfied with service. I will give this company a 10 out of 10! keep up with a good job! Georgetown, Aug 31st, 2018

    New air and furnce

    I completed a simple fast form online Tuesday morning and ‘W’ came Tuesday afternoon. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We purchased a new air unit (which broke the day before) and a furnace (we where going to replace next year but got a great deal with buying both). Thursday morning ‘M’ and an apprentice (love seeing companies hiring apprentices) showed up to do the installation. They had the job completed and everything cleaned up by the afternoon. Both guys where friendly and helpful.

    Incompetent- do not use Reliance!

    I have never written a review on Homestars before, but feel I need to warn others after the terrible experience we had with Reliance. Our air conditioner broke during one of the hottest weekends this summer. At the recommendation of Reliance, we purchased a new AC unit from them. They also changed our thermostat to a programmable one. After they installed the new AC unit, it never worked properly. It would continuously run for days and never reach the temperature set. After 5 visits from their technicians claiming that everything is working properly (even though it is clearly not), they all of a sudden recommend that it must be the air handler that now needs replacing (which would likely cost another $2000). At this point, it is very clear that they do not know what they are doing, and are only trying to make more money off of us. We are fed up (after having to take time off work to be home for all of these visits and making no progress), and say we want to send the AC unit back and get our money back (they have a money-back guarantee). We hired another company, purchased a new AC unit from them. Long story short, the issue was the thermostat installed by Reliance (not the air handler and whatever else they would have tried to sell us). Avoid Reliance so you don't have to deal with similar time-consuming hassles and incompetence.

    New AC

    Toni came to my home after the tech was here. My AC was able to be fixed. After looking at all my options I decided to go ahead with a new unit. Customer Service on all levels were wonderful.

    Water Heater

    Our water heater stopped working and we didn't have hot water. Vijay called me 20 minutes before his arrival. He diagnosed quickly and replaced the control. He was efficient and friendly.

    Hot water tank

    My hot water tank was leaking had water in my basement. I called the emergency number like it says 24 hour service only to be told they had no one available i was not happy at all good thing my husband was home to shut the tank off as i had no idea how. We contacted someone the following am to get someone out to repair. In my eyes they could have at least told us to shut the tank off until tomorrow am when someone could come out. If my husband was not home i would have had a bigger mess and my 80 year old mom also rents hers and had no idea how to shut if off we have since then showed her. The gentle man that came the following am was great as far as the 24 hour emergency call out it is untrue. I have heard from many people about not being happy with the service from Reliance something to think about.

    Water heater

    I have a yellowish water coming from the hot water, I called reliance yesterday,at the same day technician came. He explained what was wrong and fixed the problem right away. He did a good job. They are really reliable. Thank you Reliance.

    Furnace

    I am very happy with the service I will recommend them for another job This one inform me the size of the filter for the furnace and he was very professional with his job

    AC AND FURNACE REPLACED ONE VISIT

    I bought a new house, the furnace went, one month in. Called made a service request...to replace furnace right away. I also requested new AC in that the new rules, would not allow them to service this in a year. They were happy to do so. They carefully took old stuff away. "Vince" local representative was even assistive with my deck with my permission to allow, proper venting. This allowed me to avoid any cost associated with installation. I am very pleased. furnace has humidifier in winter and is high efficiency. I think I will get a rebate, as well. Very pleased. They were very quick to fulfill request as i was anxious to have AC during a little hot spell. Catherine B. Thunder Bay
