    AC Repair - Horrible Experience

    I contact Reliance to repair my AC unit in the attic that is leaking water. During the call they convinced me to also get the Cooling Protection Plan. Anyways, I booked the visit and took half day off to have the AC fixed. A few days later, the technician came by and right away told me he doesn't work in attics. I call Reliance and they said another crew would be dispatched for such work. One week later, my husband took the day off to grant them access to the house... Again, same issue. I called them and they even wanted to dispatch another crew but I escalated the issue and was told they couldn't help me from the beginning. Now, I don't have AC and I will have to wait for another company to fix it which could have happened a couple of weeks ago if I was told by Reliance they couldn't do the job at my house.... HORRIBLE SERVICE.

    Hot water tank repair

    The contractor, Kody O'Mara came July 17 and diagnosed the problem with our hot water tank as a defective thermocouple. He was polite, attentive, and articulate. The tank is working well now. Thank you.

    DO NOT RENT WATER HEATER

    This is absolutely the worst company ever. I was entered into contract automatically by buying the house with the rental heater. They billed me and made the first bill due before their welcome package is mailed to me. The welcome package says if you pay your first bill, you agree to enter into contract with reliance. I didn't know this so I paid my first bill to avoid a late fee and I entered into this ridiculous mess. First, they messed up my name and it took me multiple calls to fix it even though they promised me to fix it on the first call. Second, I wanted to cancel the water heater and they would charge me $450+TAX for reliance to pick up their water heater. If I buy out this 7 years old water heater, it's $1200+TAX. A brand new water heater of the exact same type and size costs $899 in Lowes. By paying $80, I get 6 years of warranty so I don't have to pay anything to get it fixed for 6 years. Renting from reliance for 6 years costs $2574!!! Not to mention they raise the rental fees every year. I decided to return the water heater to their branch for no charge. After I returned it, they still bill me and gave me a late fee even though I am not renting it. I called them twice trying to get this resolved and it still hasn't been resolved. I am just worried about my credit history for the late payment. Why does it take so much work to get rid of this water heater. Even if I got rid of it, they still charge me.

    Hot Water Tank

    I had Adam #3755 directly from Reliance. He gave great advice on how to maintain the tank and was very thorough in inspecting the tank. He ordered in some parts. Adam was the best technician I've had out in a long time.

    Replacement of Heating and Cooling System

    Our AC stopped working, and both the technician and the service consultant Sam, were both so professional and personable. It turns out our issue was much bigger than just a non-functioning AC unit, and they were quick to address the issue, and get our house back up and running safely.

    Great service and installation

    Had a very good experience with Reliance. Dustin and Amir were able to get us from AC and Furnace quote to install in less than 12 hours. It’s was super easy and convenient

    Outstanding Customer Care!

    Tyler Porter is an outstanding customer care specialist. We had contacted Reliance regarding a new AC unit. Tyler made himself available to come to the house and assess our old AC unit and furnace. He spoke to us about the features and benefits of a new furnace and AC unit. We had renovated our house and the AC unit and furnace was too small. I want to be clear that this was a NO pressure sale. Upon reviewing the quotation and speaking with Tyler we agreed to move forward with the Furnace and AC unit. Tyler once again came to the house and once again walked us through the benefits of the new units. He was outstanding and extremely thorough! I cannot thanks Tyler enough! If you live in the Burlington area, I highly recommend Tyler to take care of your needs at Reliance.

    New furnace and AC

    In the morning a Tech arrived check out our AC - very old not really worth repairing. Call Jeff Hayhoe, who came out later in the day, Discussed new furnace and AC - Jeff was very knowledgeable on the products and what would be best for our home. We agreed to the product suggested, Jeff arrange for the install for later that week.

    Service

    My air condioner broke and it was 90 degrees in the house...i called Reliance for a home estimate. Made an appt for the next day and when one representative got behind Amy called and explained the situation and talked about options for me. She was able to make it to my house to cover for the rep. She was fantastic!!! I not only got an air conditioner, but a furnace as well. And at a great deal as well. Way to go Amy!!!

    New AC sales and install

    Daniel was very professional and outlined the best course of action to be taken for an AC unit. I was more than happy with his proposal and am waiting for an install 2 days from now. No one else could offer this speedy service. Summer would be over before others could book a time.
