    Dave that came was so helpful and knowledgeable and really helped us to understand our new heat pump with the New Ecobee thermostat. We feel real secure in our New purchase now.

    Preventing maintenance

    Amazing and knowledgeable technician. Very helpful and experience, I learned a lot from him. I wish all technicians are like him.

    Furnace repair

    Professional, knowledgeable, friendly. Based on this service call, if your company had all service techs such as Shaun your competition would be scrambling and Reliance wouldnt be long owning the market.

    Please check the reviews before using this company!

    We rented a furnace and air conditioning unit from Reliance at well above market rates for nearly 6 years - a contract that we unfortunately inherited when we bought the house. When we decided to purchase a heat pump several months ago, Reliance would not come to remove the equipment despite many promises to do so. We had to call about 7 times. Each time they would say that a technician would be in touch, and this never happened. When they finally set an appointment to remove the equipment, the technician did not show up. This was hugely problematic because I was having my heat pump installed that day. I then had to re-schedule that installation. After all of this, Reliance offered to waive the charges for March and April, and confirmed multiple times that they had done so; yet the charges remain on the account. I am truly in disbelief that I have been forced contact this company to resolve and re-resolve these issues this many times. I have never written a negative review but feel compelled to do so to warn others.

    Trane AC and furnace installation

    On May 6, 2023 at 1738 pm, I called Reliance customer service to notify that I wanted to avail their 100% money back guarantee when their equipment does not work properly. I requested for a confirmation number and/or email of our conversation and I was promised that I will receive one. However, I did not receive any form of confirmation/email. Reliance only started calling on May 15th when I requested BBB for assistance. On April 27th, the purchased Furnace and AC was installed. That same day, the AC started freezing and not cooling my house. An Installer came back on April 28th and said everything was fine and was working normally. He said that the AC started freezing because of the cold temperatures outside. When the outdoor temperature was 18-20 degree centigrade and indoor temperature was 22.5 degree centigrade. I then started cooling my house to 18 from 22.5 degrees. However, after running the AC continuously for 6 hours, the indoor temperature remained at 22.5 degree centigrade. I contacted reliance sales person via text, email and phone call when I started having issues with no success. I felt like getting rob after they received my payment. Contacting their resolution dept was also a frustration. The only one reason I gave them a star was because of their senior technicians who shows up and tried to fix the issues. Please see attached photos of their sloppy installation. My return duct was not done properly on my opinion. I can hardly open my humidifier because its getting blocked. The humidifier coil was not installed properly. I suggest you stay away from big companies if you want peace of mind and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

    Plumbing protection plan

    We've been signed up for the heating, cooling and plumbing protection plan for about 6 months, and have used the plumbing plan twice already. It covers a lot of issues and is super convenient. Both times they've been able to come within 24 hours, there were no additional charges, and the plumbers were on time, professional and efficient. Vince helped us today and arrived on time, fixed all three of our plumbing issues (a leaky outdoor hose bib, a leaky faucet, and a jammed valve), and answered all of our questions. So far we are loving the plumbing plan. We've had past experiences with other plumbing companies that charge astronomical amounts to fix small issues. Last time with reliance they replaced our kitchen sink drain because it was leaking, totally included in the protection plan cost.

    Good service, friendly technician

    We had our annual maintenance/inspection visit for the furnace and AC this week. This is included in our monthly protection package subscription. The technician arrived within the window previously announced. He was friendly and courteous. He made sure to put his "booties" on over his work boots so as to not track dirt through the house. He performed a thorough inspection lasting about an hour.
