    Bad experience with reliance sub contractor book appointment 3 times.

    i had issue and book my appointment 26 Dec for my Faust leak 1. 28 Dec between 4 to 8 NO SHOW UP and no courtesy call, i came from my work early and waiting for technician and called back reliance its hold almost 30 to 40 min in hold and i know because of holidays and reschedule for December 29. 2. 29 Dec between 1 to 5 showed up 6 pm and no courtesy call he going late, technician was subcontracting name KARIM said he don't have part and will take one week to order even i didn't know part number. i told him part # and home depot had a part but he told me he cannot get from home depot because reliance will not reimbursement of the part so he will order and reschedule for December 30. 3. 30 Dec between 1- 6 NO SHOW UP and no courtesy call so i cancel couple of appointments. call reliance again hold around 45 min and talked MR.VINCE he have no information and he was not interested to answer my any question he said if he get any information he will call but right after called again with hold 30 min but this time your representative all information and reschedule 31 Dec between 8am to 1am 4. 31Dec this time technician called 8.30 am he is on way but this time not your contractor technician that's from reliance technician MR.Steven and done my work within 10 min. and he was so good and experienced. Thanks.

    new furnace

    Dean came to cover for another rep that couldn't make the appointment. He has a professional attitude and is very knowledgeable and provided excellent information re: to buy or rent, the efficiency of the furnace. It was a great experience. I emailed Dean the next morning with some information I forgot to give him for the technicians who were coming to install the furnace that morning. He called me and was able calm my concerns. He called that night to make sure I was happy with the installation. Many thanks Dean. The techs(sorry I only remember Chad's name) were friendly, answered my questions each time I went down to check on the progress. All in all, a good experience .

    Furnace Repair

    Last year, my 10 yr old HE Furnace died in -30C weather, so I bought new again with Reliance/The Furnace Company on contract arrangement so all maintenance etc would be covered. 1 year later, brand new HE Furnace stopped producing heat. Called it in at 4pm last night, but technician could not arrive until 7-11 AM this morning. That wait was irksome, but the technician was AMAZING! He called beforehand as i requested and arrived around 9 AM. Within 10-15 minutes he identified the problem and investigated further to ensure it would not happen ever again (electrical connections). 10 Stars for the Technician! 8 stars for the wait and missing this problem on earlier visits/installation.

    Expensive, on hold

    $356 dollars a year for a power vented water heater at my rental property. The cost keeps going up each year for the same thing. Why does the cost keep going up each year? The water heater doesn't get better, only worse year by year.

    Heating issues

    Heat was not coming on and the thermostat was not going up although it was saying the heat is on. Technician changed the thermostat. He was very helpful and knowledgeable

    Hot water tank

    Had a issue with my hot water tank. Called the reliance on December 30 at approx 11 pm. The operator was very helpful and said there would be a service tech come by in the am on Dec 31 between 8 am and 1 pm. A service tech called shortly after 8 am on December 31 and was her by 8:30 am to fix the problem. The tech that came was very friendly and helpful. He fixed the issue within no time and had me hot water!

    Furnace repair

    Manjeet Warraich came to my home to repair my furnace. This was my second service call in two days. Manjeet would not leave until my heat came on knowing we had been experiencing intermittent service for five days. Even knowing that we are having a new furnace installed tomorrow he would not give up until the furnace was running. He was here for two hours and asked if he could phone me when he got home to check and see if it was still running. Outstanding customer service from this gentleman. Thank you for sending him.

    Hot water tank.

    Dec. 12/17. 4 year old hot water tank leaking. Waited a day for service. Repair man was excellent. Very quick and efficient. Plastic drain valve was cracked and replaced with brass. Not sure why plastic was used to start with. Disappointed with the product, happy with the service.

    Water heater

    Stephen Anton has great customer service skills. He knew what he was doing and knew the system and repaired it in a timely manner as he promised. If we have any further issues we would like have Stephen respond.

    Excellent service!

    Water heater was pouring water Christmas eve. Someone came out an hour after call placed who was amazing. 5 days later another fabulous repair person (Amir.Marandi-Khalid) came and replaced our water heater. The only lost star is the amount of time we waited to get unit - but to their credit, it was over the holidays and everyone we dealt with was understanding, professional and seemed to genuinely want to help!
