I recently had a furnace installed and one very small thing the installer forgot to do turned into a 2 day service nightmare.
The installation subcontractors did an excellent job and merely forgot to relight my gas fireplace.
When I called the service center to get this rectified, I in the end called 5 times talked to many people ( each time having to go over every detail), wasted 7 hours of my time, was intentionally misled by several of the call center supervisors cancelling a scheduled appointment and marking the issue as resolved, when nothing had been done.
In the end when the subcontractor returned the next day, it required about 5 minutes of their time. Had they had been told after my first call they would have come right over and remedied the situation. The guys from the sub contractor we're fantastic.
Reliance call center on the other hand was among the most frustrating experiences of my life.
Hours on the phone, more hours waiting for call backs, for a tiny install issued that was resolved in 5 minutes.
Reliance's incompetence is absolutely mindboggling. I WILL NEVER deal with them again.
