    annual service

    Service technician arrived on time, was very thorough and friendly. Performed service of boiler in good time and answered any questions with understandable explanations. I was very pleased and completely satisfied.

    Pathetic customer service

    They just want to make a sale and are not interested in working for your comfort as they claim. Always looking to tweak or twist settings to see if things work and not agreeing when you say you are not comfortable with the temperature in the house or the new AC/ furnace units. Don't buy from them and don't rent at all, they only want to make money and push you to rent. Don't fall for their 5 points of satisfaction, it's all nonsense.

    Water Heater, Furnace and Air Conditioner

    CONFUSED COMMUNICATION BETWEEN TECHNICIANS AND STAFF SERVICING PEOPLE ON THE PHONE Since the recent flood to our city the need to contact your company to assist with replacement of parts arose. It was through this contact that I found out that I had "purchased" my water tank at some point in time. This was unknown to me as I had never received any documentation to advise me of this. I was not even aware of being able to do. This information was brought to light when I requested proof of ownership along with a quote for a new tank. Apparently your company does not quote on new tanks or send out documents to inform people when they "purchase" the tank. I had to call 3 times before I found the service representative Sarah who assisted me by drafting up a document saying that I owned the tank. Then the furnace/air condition. I pay for the protection plan. Your service staff on the phone sent someone out to look at the unit post flood and advised the parts that would be needed. I as a consumer I INCORRECTLY assumed that this information would be taken back and that the parts would be ordered. Therefore I contacted your company a second time to arrange for what I thought would be an installation of said parts only for another technician to arrive to tell me the same thing as the first one. This tech at least informed me of the process that all parts ordered are shipped directly to the house. I contacted your service people for the 3rd time to ensure that the parts were ordered for delivery. I was not allowed to discuss anything directly with the parts department. I was assured that the parts were ordered. Upon arrival another tech came out. Jason did a great job of installing my parts but he had to call and inform me that the wrong part was sent and that another part needed to be ordered. The other part was ordered by Jason who helped me out by putting me touch with Sonny his manager who made arrangements to have Ian come to my house immediately to install the part and get my air conditioned up and running. It was Ian who came in and tested my furnace and identified it as needing a new board. Ian made arrangements for the part to be ordered and it came the very next day. Sarah, Sonny, Jason and Ian were fantastic and really helped me out during a very tough emotional time. My kids and I thank all of the tech's that came to our house and got us up and running. We are very thankful! To Reliance as a whole. My air conditioning was down from August 29 until September 25. This is far to long for someone to have to wait for a company to get it together to have air conditioning on services that they are paying for monthly.

    Tech was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy when making suggestions like a new furnace. Explained how to get a quote for a new furnace and airconditioner A pleasant experience overall.

    Furness filters 0

    Showed up at the dealer looking for a filter when the staff helped me to find a filter for my Furness with smiles and helpfully tips on how to care for my Furness did a survey for exchange for a $35.00 filter very satisfied with the service.

    Repair/replace thermostat

    The service was covered by my protection plan. It would have otherwise cost over $300. Stephen was punctual and professional. He completed the work in short order, made sure the thermostat was working properly, and instructed me on how to use it. I am very happy with the service I received from Reliance.

    Service

    A/C was making a noise. Tech cleaned the pump showed us how to clean the coils on outside unit and changed the filter. Although I change my filter faithfully every 3 months as recommended he said I probably should do it more often. All is well

    Water softener quote

    Ken came out to assess and quote us for a water softener and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend reliance. He was right on time and straight to the point.

    Furnace/AC protection plan

    Customer service can be a bit "rough" but all in all great. Techs are the best. I was with Enercare before and what a nightmare with yearly contracts. Reliance is month to month so you can cancel anytime. I have a water heater rental with them too. Anytime there is an issue techs take time for a proper diagnosis and get the Job done well. They always offer a "show and tell" on the equipment they are working on. Last tech, Michael, was friendly, knowledgeable and had my AC unit fixed in 20 min. He showed me how to have my furnace run more efficiently. Upstairs is now 5 degrees cooler. Thank you Michael! You turned the hiccup I had with customer service into a 5 star review. I appreciate the run down and advice.

    HVAC RENTAL SYSTEM

    I met with John Sageloly today, he was thorough and very professional. He gave me options, and explained to me the benefits of the rental program. He also made sure to get my installation asap. It is very clear that he enjoys his job and has the highest regard for the company. I will be recommending him to everyone i know Sincerely Karen May
