    Install new water heater

I am very impressed with the professional service that Adam (reliance service tech #120) displayed installing my new water tank. All work was completed in a timely manner and all of the piping and venting was perfectly done. He went the extra mile on my install and was very courteous and knowledgeable. This is what one would expect from a professional tech. Keep up the excellent work Adam.

David (DAA4271) was fantastic when he came to repair our hot water tank. He came a day earlier than we were expecting and he took his time to evaluate any and all issues with our hot water tank. He was very polite and professional, definitely would recommend him for all our service calls. Thank you so much David!

    Furnace replacement

I was renting the furnace from reliance since 2008, and decided to own one instead of renting. Meet the saleman Steve Shewchuk in the morning, explain what I am hoping to get done. Steve got back to me within 2 hrs with a good deal for me. Get everything set up on the same day, I am very satisfied with the salesman.

    no hot water, rental tank

Called at 10:30 and had "James at my door at 1:00. He was everything an HVAC should be and more. Replacement tank the next day. Mike and Brandon I think. They were just like James. Congratulations on attracting such great fitters, they rock. No cost as I am a rental client. Beverley in Milton

    Fabulous

Union Gas did an inspection and meter change. Unfortunately there were some infractions requiring immediate updating. Reliance was quick to help me get their subcontractor out to fix the pipe. Then my water tank died. The reliance installer was out quickly & Kevin M did an awesome job. My tank is in, old one gone, & I have hot water again! Thank you reliance, Northern Heating, & Reliance Installer (Kevin M)!

    boiler repair

Our hot water boiler was out for almost a week that also supplies our heat in home. I volunteered to go to Mississauga and pick up the part to speed up the process by they would not let so the repair time was delayed. On a positive note the repair person Manjeet was very helpful , friendly and clean and did a great job

    Tankless hot water install

Today we got tankless hot water unit installed. It's a rental so we didn't pay for the installation service, but we do pay a monthly fee. From the moment they got here they were sloppy. They put down runner carpets on the stairs and main walking path but missed huge sections. They didn't put anything down over the main entrance or carpet in the utility room and after they left I found 9 soldier drips amungst the debris they left behind. The carpet is wet with rusty water stains some of which are about 10 feet from where the old plumbing was and on the other side of a 1/2 wall. They cut the support post of the 1/2 wall for no apparent reason and did not reattach it. They left small pieces of foam, insulation, and other debris in the sink and utility sink. Just after they started I put the plugs in the drains so they wouldn't clog them. They left plastic drain pipe and some of the old copper pipes. The floor is riddled with screws, plastic shavings, pieces of foam and insulation etc... I really hope they did everything right because I don't want them coming back! We had our furnace replaced 2 days ago and the guys Daniel and Lance were great! 10/10 Stars! The hot water tank installers (I didn't get their names and they didn't leave a comment card) 2/10! As far as I can tell the work they did was fine although they did mount the tankless unit 3" too far away from the power outlet! So they used my extension chord. I'm pretty sure that's a no no. I will be getting that moved ASAP.

Tankless Water Heater and New Furnace

Salesman Bill Wright was fantastic to deal with. Explained my options, warranties, service requirements and the rebates program completely. He offered me an excellent package for a tankless water heater and a furnace that was by far the most "bang for my buck" over the 3 other inquiries from other companies. He was very polite and personable. I would highly recommend this gentleman to my acquaintances. The furnace installers AJ and Branch were very professional and paid close attention to detail and answered all my questions. Great guys. The tankless installers, IMO, were a little rough. I was not 100% satisfied with the way the piping was sealed outside. A quick silicone job smeared all over the siding and not sealed all around. Also, they did not reset the insulation or patch the vapour barrier on the inside. Also a subpar routing of the condensate drain piping. These are not major issues, I will repair myself to my own satisfaction. Just an FYI though that customers notice the little things. All in all I am very pleased with the install and would recommend Reliance to anyone.

    Customer service, products, technician

New tankless installed. No hot water or pressure in shower. 6 plumbers came by no results. Change of shower valve quote $800, neighbours in complex experiencing same problem. One is getting it changed for $120. Manager was suppose to contact me. No response. Supervisor gave me two free months of rental then wanted to follow up, I emailed twice and no response. Everytime I call I'm being swatted around like a ping pong. Then furnace guy didn't tell me that I owned the previous furnace and now I have a monthly fee of $80 a month on top of a tankless ($60 plus plan) and now they want me to get AC - not broken - don't fix it! Money grabbers.
