I inherited the water heater rental as part of my new house. When I first inquired about the rental exit fees, I was quoted one cost. When I called back two weeks later, I was quoted a substantially higher cost. I finally decided to eat whatever cost i would incur just to get out of the contract with Reliance. On the phone with them, I was quoted a different value again! There's no consistency. I got the hot water tank removed, and it was returned to reliance. I was then charged a bogus $40 'service visit' fee on my final bill. I called and inquired, and the customer representative said that this was charged in error and I would be credited in the next bill. To no one's surprise, this credit has never arrived. This customer service experience has been so overwhelmingly bad that i feel like i should eat the $40 just so i dont have to be on the phone with them ever again. Please read the reviews online carefully before considering this company.

My humidifier sprung a leak today (plastic hose had a hole), called reliance and they came within an hour. Fella fixed the hose and said I should also replace the filter. I went to the Reliance shop in Sudbury to get a new filter but they were out of stock, (id DAA 1799) said she would order a new one . service was great today and I would recommend Reliance to anyone.

I was very happy with the plumber who came out to my house. He was kind, professional and efficient. My basement was completely flooded and I was hoping the eeling of the drain would be covered under the plumbing protection plan. Phil took the time to explain why it wasn't covered and told me the cost upfront and asked if I wished for him to continue. He got all the water to drain which was awesome! The only thing I will say is that $330 is a lot of money to eel a drain. Phil told me an inspector would come out within the hour to look at the hot water tank and furnace since I rent the tank and have the home protection plan for the furnace. The inspector did in fact show up within that time frame however he refused to inspect the units until the basement was cleaned after the flood. Perhaps give homeowners a bit longer to clean the mess of a flood. He wasn't rude about it at all but I was really embarrassed about it. I've never heard of a flood that didn't leave damage and a mess to clean. That's the two things I would say I didn't like; the high cost and no time to clean before the inspector showed up.

I had the furnace and ac protection plan for my townhouse. As the 7 years warranty for the equipment got closer, the furnace started to fail and Reliance technicians came to do small repairs. Last visit from the technician was Piru that gave me a good explanation of the unit workings and the indications of usage and reasons why the unit was starting to degrade. Piru came with Dustin, a home coordinator from Reliance. I decided to go for the rental upgrade from Reliance after Dustin explained it in detail and I made me feel confident of the decision.

Had plumber [Phil] arrive today to to service my plumbing needs awesome guy easy to talk two job well done .....THANKYOU would recommend to any one needing any service by them

I have the home protection plan and to be honest if I was to review the company as a whole they would be 1, it took them 4 times to get it right. I kept on getting an error message my new furnace that they had installed and yet no one could figure out why . I even received a new thermostat as one of the technicians thought this was the problem but the same message was coming up again, until finally Thava came and figured it out, this was their 4th technician. Only because of him I gave this many stars he was very professional and managed to fix the issue he also went above and educated me on the extra features of my thermostat which the others had brushed off and told me that it was all in the manual, which it clearly wasn't. I don't know how so many others could miss the same issue and not even bother to get back and fix it, I had to keep calling to re-book a technician which should not be the case if the issue was never resolved in the first place I should be contacted since this is a service I'm paying for. Thank you to Thava for being such a reliable and hard working person.

Piru did a great job. He came by in time and not only fix the problem with our heating system but also took the time to explain it and to prevent in the future . He was very professional and friendly

I have been with RHC for many years. Recently, our relatively new water heater was not coming up to temperature. A technician was dispatched for the next morning and actually arrived at around 7:30am. He replaced a part and had us up and running in short order. The kind of service I have come to expect every time from RHC. Mike N - Great Job!

I had no hot water the other day and reliance sent Matt (#4357)over. He was able to get my hot water working again. Im impressed with his work skills and how determined he was to fix the situation. I'm very satisfied with the services! I definitely will recommend reliance to others. Thank you Matt!
