I requested to terminate the tank rental online and Confirmation of Notice of Termination was issued by Reliance home comfort on August 19, 2022 indicating that 'Rental up to day of Return' Hot water tank was returned to 200 West Beaver Creek Road drop-off location on August 29, 2002. Rental fee was charged on September bill until September 30, 2022. I called and emailed Reliance home comfort Customer Resolutions on October 7 and emailed again November 3, 2022 regarding the rental fee refund. The responses by the customer solutions specialist were 'I will forward this off to our admin department.' I submitted another online Billing Inquiries on December 5, 2022, Reliance home comfort confirmed the receipt of the Inquiry and will respond in 3 business days. It is more than 8 days now and still no response.Answer from pro:

Woke up Sunday morning with no heat and house cold. Reliance came quickly and determined our 18 year old furnace should be replaced. Steve from Reliance came and gave us options on new furnace. He left two space heaters for us to use until new furnace installed the next day. Furnace install was done quickly and work area was cleaned up. Very happy with new furnace and Nest smart thermostat.Answer from pro:

Error of a bill for $245.01, should not be acceptable. Errors like that should not appear for your customers to panic and stress over. And you customer service representatives need better training, if someone asks for a manager for a clearer message and better explanation we should not be denied. I am very dissatisfied with my experience. And am looking to change providers due to these situations. Unprofessional.Answer from pro:

in order to take advantage of the Canada Greener Homes Energy Grant, I needed a company that understood the details of the program. Tim @ Reliance did all the necessary homework, found me the right Heat Pump and matching Furnace. Their process was almost seamless, and where there were bumps in the road (there are always bumps), reliance took care of everything. Installers were pros and pleasant, response times were immediate when there were concerns. They worked well with my fuel company at hookup time. I've now used reliance for the third time (generator electrical and pool equipment) and they've done excellent work at good prices with worry free guarantee every time. We spoke with Peter regarding our hot water tank rental. It was getting old, at least twelve years old. He recommended a newer product that would be much more cost efficient in the long run. He booked us in right away for a replacement for this same week. He went above and beyond. Such a great guy. I would definitely recommend this company. It is winter in Canada. Our heating and hot water is down. Reliance came assessed, claimed to order a part and charged us in advance for the work. Promised we'd have a tracking on part next day. Nothing. Never called back repeatedly even though we escalated. We had to keep calling to check for the part. We have had no heat for 4 days now. We had to call again today and they tried to defer us for a escalation call back again but we insisted this last time we just want a refund bc they could no longer claim it was on the way anymore because no one we've spoken to (5 at least) could find the actual order apart from our invoice. Without any exaggeration, it is my daughter's 9th birthday and we have to move the party bc of this. We know the parts are available. We googled the parts listed on the invoice. UNRELIABLE and does not return calls. Update, someone called us back after 2 days of promising to call back, they said we should get the part soon, but couldn't commit to when or any tracking. We just have to huddle here in the cold and hope apparently. We have requested a refund for failure meet their commitments and fixing our heating and hot water. AVOID THEM.Answer from pro:

Had no heat in my house and made a call to Reliance. With-in two days I had a brand new furnace and AC installed and all toasty and warm! Thank you Andrei and the rest of your team great work and super fast service! Very pleased and would highly recommend.Answer from pro:

Water around furnace pooling. Winter time so no AC. Phoned and technician came asap. Found out condensate pump needed replacing. Replaced immediately. Problem fixed!!Answer from pro:
