    Furnace and Central Air

My old furnace was over 27 years old and I had been thinking about replacing it for a few months. I met Liz Norton from Reliance and after talking with her I decided to have the new equipment installed. I am completely happy with my new furnace and central air.

    Great service all around

I needed a new Furnace and A/C unit. My Sales representative, Frank, was completely up front and no pressure. The service plan from Reliance offers me worry free peace of mind for 10 years. The installers, Sep and Burak, were excellent. They laid down drop cloths throughout the house to ensure the floors were protected. They were both very professional and did a great job with the removal of the old equipment and the installation of the new Furnace and A/C. I'm pretty particular about the way work is done and finished and they did not disappoint. The job was cleanly installed and the worksite was fully cleaned after installation and all the old equipment was taken away for recycling. Sep did a full walkthrough of all the new equipment and demonstrated how to do a seasonal switchover with the new humidifier and thermostat. I recommend Reliance if you are in the market for a new HVAC system. We paid a little bit more up front than the cheapest quote but after doing the math for the next 10 years, the Total Cost of Ownership was cheaper than the lower quote because of the structure of the warranty and service contract. For comparison, I got a quote from Enercare which was $4000 higher for the same equipment with a lesser warranty. Completely out to lunch and the sales guy had no authority to change the pricing structure in any meaningful way. I got a quote from another company that was about a $1000 cheaper than the quote I got from Frank but the warranty structure would have cost me $2000 over 10 years in mandatory annual services in order to maintain the equipment warranty. This made the TCO higher. There are many companies that will give you a rock bottom price but when you have an issue they will be nowhere to be found and the equipment may or may not be warranted by the manufacturer depending on where the equipment was purchased from. Do your homework.

Drain Tube Plugged Up - Dave S 1618

A Reliance rep called me saying that a technician was available a day earlier than my scheduled appointment, which worked out great for us. The technician, Dave S 1618, called to alert me that he was on his way to my my house. He came in and was professional and informative. He was able to diagnose the issue and fix it quickly. Dave showed me what he had done and confirmed that it was done properly. Overall a great experience.

    service on central air

The technician Andre Dyer was very informative and pleasant to deal with. He was friendly from the moment he walked in and introduced himself. He called before he showed up and was on time. He checked the unit thoroughly and explained what was wrong and what the next steps would be .

Andre Dyer from reliance is the person that helped me out today. My air condition was not working. He serviced it and then gave me a couple options on what I could consider. He was very understanding, attentive, kind, and knew what he was doing. His customer service skills are awesome I noticed as stressful as the job could be he still had a smile on his face and got everything done with patience! Thanks Andre!

    SErvice

My new a/c which is about 18 months old, stopped working. This was the second time a service person had come over to fix the same problem. I called Reliance around 6;30PM. They sent a service person over around 9:00PM. By the time the a/c was fixed it was around 11:00PM. The service person, Andre Dyer was super nice and extremely helpful and explained in detail the issues that he had fixed..........This may be too far fetched BUT the Next time you have a problem, ask that Andre Dyer be sent over!!
