    A/C New Installation

    From the Sales Person, Andrew McMaster, to the installers; all went very well without any issues. Professional and reliable services all way long. Thank you all... Reliance is in fact Home Comfort.

    Hot water issue

    The water heater installer/technician did a very good job in fixing/addressing the problem with our water heater. He knew right away what and where the problem was, which is indicative of his being an efficient and competent technician. Keep up the good work. You have made another customer happy and satisfied with your services.

    New Furnace and Air Conditioner

    We bought a new air conditioner and furnace in the summer of 2014. The first sales person we had was terrible - measured wrong and the installers couldn't do their work because of it. It was a mess to sort out and very frustrating! We got a second sales person Gail Garber who was very personable and completed our sales package with little issue. Our scheduled installation went well and the installers were very informative. Two points that I have issue with 1) We were not advised that our furnace filter was a fraction of an inch smaller than a standard size filter that you can buy at any hardware store. We have to bulk order the filters online - not convenient and more expensive! 2) We paid extra to have a 10 year warranty instead of the 5 year warranty that came with the products. We have never been given any information about the warranty. We don't know if we have to have things done in order to keep the warranty valid and we don't know how to access the warranty if we need it. At the time Reliance had the best price for the equipment we wanted so we went with them.

    HVAC

    Furnace & ac installed 20 May 2014. Technician said to call him for first 6 months of service. 21 May Water spraying all over basement from humidifier. Technician returned my call 2 days later. 14 July System completely frozen inside & out. Called technician. He says call Reliance. Froze a second time that summer. Technician now says not to run the dryer & ac at the same time. 15 Sept power switch failed on furnace. 24 Sept started to freeze again. June 2015 11 different phone calls to get new filters. 31 Aug frozen again. Telephone operator refused to give me name or ID. Jan 2016 Filters are no longer free or delivered. Now you have to go to the store to buy them. April 2016 discovered that Reliance can actually take money from your account on any day they choose, payment plan or not. Kelly is a slick talking sales woman and had me totally fleeced. On the day of install, the hepa filter I had ordered had suddenly disappeared, meaning another visit. Once I told her to forget it, one magically appeared. It has been nothing but trouble and misery since the day it was installed. Biggest mistake of my life.

    Complete new efficiency furnace & A/C

    In order to achieve reliability in our retiree years we opted to take advantage of their offers for an upgraded more efficient furnace/AC. The service was excellent, on time and schedule as promised All old equipment was cleared out and removed.

    funace repair

    The technician Robert Maclean {2704} was very efficient,extremely polite and reached on time.He educated me on lots of things. Tecnicians like Rob make a huge difference and the cutomer would always patronize Reliance product.

    Furnace Service

    Service provided by Peter (5278). He was very knowledgeable, explained everything he was doing in language I could understand, and made several helpful, money saving suggestions. It was a pleasure to deal with such a courteous and thorough serviceperson.

    air conditioner

    Bought a new home in a new city. Knew we needed air conditioning before summer, but were also worried that the furnace was 30+ years old. We had a Reliance Hot Water Rental so we went to them for a quote. Turns out we can have both, and not pay for 6 months, plus pay monthly and rent it. Awesome!

    Water heater repair

    We rent our water heater from Reliance. We had a leak in the basement that we identified as coming from the water heater. The call centre operator was polite and sympathetic, and was able to give me an appointment the next day- I wasn't available for that one, but they were able to give me an appointment at my first available time. The window time was reasonable. The technician arrived well within the window of time given. He was professional and friendly. He quickly identified the problem, explained and repaired it quickly. No charge, due to rental! Very pleased!

    tankless water heater unit

    Had a problem with getting hot water from my tank. Reliance sent Wes and fixed the unit without hassle. I was very pleased with Wes, who was very respectful, clean, and quick. Thank you reliance and I appreciate the very quick service
