    No Heat - Coldest Day of the year

    I woke up to no heat in my house with an outside temperature of -22. My furnace was not working. I phoned Reliance and they were able to send someone out later the same day. The technician Richard, was friendly and courteous despite the cold temperatures and i am sure a high volume of similar service calls. He was quickly able to diagnose the issue but unfortunately did not have the less poplar replacement part on his ruck. He went out of his way to go back to the shop in Guelph to see if the part was there, and would have made the trip to Kitchener if it meant getting my heat going again . Once back with the part, he got the furnace working in no time. I was very appreciate of his empathy and commitment to get the job done. Thank you!!

    New Furance and A/C

    Great Service right from calling the Home Comfort Protection Plan. On Feb. 1st/2016 my furnace stopped working after 39 years. It was to far gone and unsafe to repair. They came in 2 hours of my call. The salesman was available right away and on Monday Feb 2nd 2016 the installers were here at 8:00 am right on time and put down protective floor covers. They worked continuously for 7 or 8 hours. Andrew and Nenous (N.C.E.) were respectful of our property and there manners. On Feb. 15th 2016 Barry from Reliance came to move the water tank and put the high efficiency air filter on. He worked very hard in a very tight working area to do this. He also worked 7 or 8 hours to do this none stop. I am very happy with my purchase and excellent service from Reliance in Stoney Creek, Ont. I would recommend Reliance with this very good experience with there service.

    Furnace and AC installation

    Nothing is worse than having your furnace break down on the coldest day of the year! I called Reliance immediately and within the next hour the serviceman showed up and proceeded to diagnose the problem. After a few hours of trying different solutions, he showed me that the furnace was beyond repair! Did I mention it was the coldest day and the cold snap was going to last the whole weekend? The serviceman must have seen the panic look on my face and assured me that Reliance will help us get our heat ASAP . I was contacted by Rodney Weins, their home comfort advisor within half an hour and came to the house to discuss options available to us. He was very knowledgable and explained everything to us in the way we can understand, from the technical to the financial perspective. Our installation was scheduled for Monday (family day). In the meantime Rodney provided us with several portable space heaters to tide us over. Come Monday morning, Rob and Dejan showed up promptly at 7:45 am as scheduled and went about their job methodically and efficiently . They kept the house clean before and after they were done. Rob explained and showed us what they did and how everything functioned. Overall, we were very happy with our experience with Reliance, everyone was professional and knowledgeable and we would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.

    New Furnace

    I was on vacation in Florida when my son told me he didn't think the furnace was working. I call emergency service and they told me that my heated changer was gone and my blower was going. They ruined of my gas to the furnace and said it would need to be replaced. I called Reliance and and arranged for a rep to come over and give me a price to replace. I was introduced to Lina Alvar. I can't say enough positive words about Lina, PROFESSIONAL, INTELLIGENT, CARING , PATIENT, COMPETENT, come to mind . While I decided on which Avenue I was going to take , Lina stayed close to my house and went in to measure at 11:00 pm and had an email prepared and sent to me at 5:30 am. Once I made the decision , the Reliance team removed the old furnace and piping, installed the new furnace and piping and were in and out without a trace in under 6 hours . The whole experience was done in under 24 hrs and the new furnace is far superior than the one I had. I think its important that good companies and service people get recognition .     Furnace Repair

    Our furnace stopped functioning on Sunday Feb 14, fortunately 1 day after the coldest part of the winter this year so far although still quite cold. It took Reliance 20 hours to dispatch a technician. Despite the bone chilling and uncomfortable 20 hour wait (house temperature dipped to 13 degrees) the issue way quickly resolved by a competent technician - Peter. Cost was a bit steep considering the minor issue. Peter was friendly, fast, polite and efficient in analyzing the issue and explaining each step of the process to me. In-house service was excellent.     New Furnace

    REMEMBER if you have the PLAN and needs replacement, always bargain to have your repair cost goes toward your new hardware as discount. Sale rep. will not remind you are eligible to. Installer Erik & Ryan did a excellent job.

    New furnace & AC

    Our old furnace was breaking down (of course completely on the two coldest nights this winter) but Reliance got us running again and we decided to install a new energy efficient furnace and AC. The installation was done two days after making the decision and the work was done by Peter P and his work mate from NLS Heating & AC in Burlington. They were fast and friendly and put up with our two dogs barking and now we are enjoying our nice warm home again. We would (and have) recommended Reliance Home Comfort to other people.     Furnace unusual noise

    Recently there was a strange noise on my furnace - I reported it right away the the problem was dealt with efficiently and professionally. It was explained to me so that I was able to understand it. The work order was BEB7453010 and the technical expert was Mathew Philpott. I thank him

    Hot water tank

    Today Wes came buy to service the water tank and he did fix it in a professional and timely manner. He not only explained the problem and the solutions to it, but also provided advice on how to improve the efficiency of the furnace and water tank. Great job! (Plus it's been done on the Family Day!). Thank you, Wes.

    Furnance repair

    So my furnace went on the coldest day of the year -25 Although I had protection plan the main part was not covered Which no one disclosed that info when I purchased the plan, I was told Fully covered, So 6500 dollars later I needed a new furnace, Andrew McMaster was very polite and provided great customer service overall, thank you Andrew
