I woke up with no hot water. Called the 800 number - took a while to get to the right place, but when I did she booked a 4 hour window. Service man Ryan called 30 mins prior to showing up and took care of the problem. Pleasant, helpful and friendly!

After contacting several contractors, I finally decided to rent a new furnace & A/C from Reliance. The whole process was very smooth with Reliance advisor, Dean Timpany, answering all of my questions & putting me at ease with my decision. All aspects of my experience from my 1st call to Reliance , my phone calls & meetings with Dean, until the very efficient installers put in my new system was seamless. I am very happy with my decision to rent & with the system itself. I have already seen a decrease in utility bills, the system was installed in July 2015. I will and have recommended this service to friends & family

Andrew Power was most helpful in communicating with regards to type of air conditioner, cost , details of instalation, timing of installation and follow up. Instalers were most co-operative and thorough.

I inherited a hot water rental contract with this company. So the hot water goes completely cold the other day. We call the company to come fix the hot water tank we rent. Someone comes out and replaces something. They tell us in 45 minutes we will have hot water. 4 hours later, no hot water. They come back again, replacing more parts of the hot water heater this time. They tell us there isn't enough gas, and that we need to have Enbridge come and check the gas. Great, we wait another day until the gas company can come. Gas company (good ol' Enbridge) fails to show up for the first appointment and then the next day, says NOTHING WRONG WITH THE GAS. Reliance then says they will come today between 7 and 11 to replace the tank. NOBODY SHOWS UP. Make another appointment for 4pm. Sure hope they show up! My parents had to take time off work, what an epic epic waste of everyone's' time, including Enbridge's. Then, they called me to see if I wanted to sign up for their furnace maintenance program.

Fast and efficient replacement of water heater. Was told appt between 7-11 and Joe was here by 8. He was very kind and friendly and went over and beyond to do great job. He was also very helpful providing me information on extended warranty for our furnace.

We've been dealing with Reliance Home Comfort for many years now through renting our water heater and also a service and maintenance contract for our furnace and air-conditioner. Reliance has always been very thorough and professional whenever we've called them so when it came time to consider a new, upgraded furnace we felt that we'd be in excellent hands with Reliance. Jayson Newton came to the house on Tuesday, December 8th. He spent a considerable amount of time explaining the various options available and then took thorough measurements of the house to ensure the unit we’ve chosen would be ideal for us. My wife and I were very happy with Jayson's professionalism and attention to detail and as promised, the installers showed up on Friday, December 11th to install the new unit. Like Jayson, both the installers were very professional and did an excellent job removing the old unit and installing then new unit. They had to install a new pipe and replace the existing pipe, all of which was done very neatly as we are VERY particular about not spoiling the look and finish of our house. They spent almost the whole day installing the new furnace because it is very high tech unit and before leaving, they did a very thorough job cleaning ALL of the basement where they were working - the new furnace looks and runs beautifully. In fact it is so much more powerful and effective than our previous furnace that we find ourselves turning down the heat on days where we previously had to turn up the heat with our old unit. Jayson called to follow up and ensure that we were pleased with the new system. With all of the recent negative media about unsuspecting homeowners being duped into buying ridiculously over priced HVAC systems, which will take them decades to pay off, it was an EXTREMELY gratifying experience dealing with Jayson and Reliance Home Comfort on this major purchase that will serve us well for years to come. Furthermore, we can rest at ease knowing that it is backed up by and will be serviced by Reliance Home Comfort which is one of the most reputable companies in the industry.

I met with a fabulous HCA Murray Stark who was very informative and explained the whole rental process to me. Murray also explained the rebate process to me. Murray answered all my questions and was present on the day of install twice. He also followed up with me after the install. My furnace was installed by David (#0136) who was excellent at his work. He even removed my old humidifier control panel for me. He was clean and efficient. David explained the new humidifier to me and the new temperature control. I would recommend Murray and David to family and friends.

I rent my water heater from Reliance and today my 7 year old tank blew out and leaked on my basement floor. Fortunately it ran out the drain in the floor so there was no damage and limited clean up. Reliance was called at dawn and had a new tank in my basement by noon. Thanks!

Located in Brantford, Ontario, I lost my hot water and called for service. Technician responded and showed up within 2 hours of my call. He was very polite and pleasant. Two problems were quickly identified and repaired within 15-20 minutes. I am very satisfied with your team member Bill, #7945.
