Derek and Tim were extremely knowledgeable installers. They provided a pre and post tour to my wife of the install. They went above and beyond their duty. While outside installing the venting they noticed the air conditioner pad was not level and they leveled it. Also they detected a gas leak and fixed it as well as painting the rusted gas line to house. Will definitely recommend Holmesheating!

The ignition failed in the water heater resulting in NO HOT WATER for the first and second days of school. Reliance sent me Alan R. - who pleasantly came in, spotted the issue, made the repair and made my day. Alan was professional, and polite. He explained what the issue was, he told me what he would do to repair it and how long it would take before I had hot water again. Great service from a quality advisor. Thanks Reliance.

Jason came and fixed our hot water heater. He was friendly, polite and fast. I would recommend him to anyone who needs repairs done. Reliance Home Comfort is the best out there!

I had the very unfortunate experience of dealing with a Reliance. After buying my first house, and supposedly assuming the rental of the Water Heater, I asked Reliance for an explanation of the charges it's placing on my Enbridge bill for Water Heater Rental. All I want to see was a copy of the rental agreement that will explain the terms and conditions of the monthly rental fee Reliance is charging. After more than a month and a dozen phone calls and e-mails, Reliance is unable to send me a rental agreement. Fair is fair, if they can't show me a valid rental agreement, I asked them to stop charging me the rental fees and take the tank away. They insist that I will be subject to a contract termination fee on a contract they are unable to reproduce. I have filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario. Lesson for anyone reading this is: Don't rent a water heater. You don't rent your shingles, your fridge or furnace, why rent a water heater? You end up paying for the same water heater ten times with the rental payments. If you had to rent, don't rent from Reliance. That company is in the practice of charging its customers rental fees without being able to show them a rental agreement. That is just not right.

Our repair tech was Paul #2060. He came out on time, worked efficiently to identify our problem. He quickly could see the AC fan motor needed replacing, he needed to get a part, which only took a short amount of time. The installation was quick, and Paul was very professional, going the extra mile to check that our overall unit was still in good shape . We highly recommend his service - he's very knowledgeable.

Mr. Bill Bootle, team member 7945, has now been to repair my system twice. In each case he took the time to help me understand the operation and maintenance of the system. He advised me on the best coverage for me and facilitated the most cost effective repair service. Mr. Bootle cares about customers. He does more than just fix things. His work is all for the long term. I will request to have him for my next service call. Ten stars Mr. Bootle.

On Wed, Glen, sales rep, explained all the equipment options, costs and rebate with clear information. Took and answered all our questions very efficiently in a pleasant manner. Initial installation of AC /furnace by John and Ryan was done the next day, Thursday, and again both were very pleasant and efficient. Because we had never had AC before, they could not operate the system without an electrician to run new connections, that was done in Sat. Mon reliance techs were back to start the system, but we failed to get adequate instructions on programming the thermostat and what to expect We had two visits from a subcontractor that were not very helpful. Finally we contacted Glen, the sales rep who arranged for Rudie and Ash to come by to check our thermostat settings I had done and explain the AC operation. They did a great job. Rudie and Ash took the time to go over all the operational aspects, and to make sure we understood how the system functioned. Reliance your now great !

In the middle of the summer our AC went and Reliance HC was the only company that came to take a look asap. The repair guy suggested the AC was in poor condition and also discussed the mid-efficiency Furnace that we had that was nearing the end of its life. After a very thorough discussion of the options (repair, rent, purchase) and then getting second opinions we decided to go with a complete replacement of our Furnace, AC and added a Tankless Water heater. The installation was fast, efficient and the whole experience was great. I would work with them in the future.

Needed a water heater moved to make it easier for renovations. the technican provided excellent quality service and maintained a neat and clean work environment. Stuck the quote. I would use this service again.
