    Replace hot water heater

    Our service technician Wes arrived first thing in the morning and replaced our leaking hot water tank so we could get on with our day. Fast efficient and and reliable service team!

    New Furnace and A/C

    In March 2014 my furnace died. I decided to replace it. The install was ok ( a bit sloppy) but was cleaned up by the installers after 2 additional visits. They forgot to "put a thermostat" on the truck but promised to return at a later date to install a new on . That never happened. After calls an text messages I just gave up on ever seeing it. Last summer my A/C wouldn't keep. The house temp would rise 5c and the A/C would run almost 24 hours a day. Reliance returned several times to charge the system, change some wiring, put a jumper in, take a jumper out.. Then it got cool. This summer the same thing. My A/C runs all day and most of the night and does not maintain a steady temperature. I have called reliance and have been promised a call back from my sales person. Nothing. My neighbor across the street which I referred to Reliance has had the EXACT same issues and Reliance has had to upsize his A/C because the sales person sold an undersized unit. I would LOVE this to happen but I can't even get a call back. I should have read their BBB report before doing business with them. I am TOTALLY dissatisfied with my experience with Reliance and wish they would just come and rip their equipment out of my house. I am tired of empty promises.

    Central A/C

    The Reliance install crew Amir and Adam are very good and helpful they explain to me very well why they do this and that they work as a team and make sure that their client is very satisfied with the work that they've done.

    New furnace & A/C

    I was talking to my Father one day and we were discussing his new furnace and A/C he had installed. He told me what a good deal it was and gave me Dean Timpany's card and I called him and he came out to see me. I told him I wanted the same rental plan that my Father & sister were getting. He explained everything in detail and signed me up. The installation was fast & clean. I have had no problems to date and am very satisfied top this point.

    Service

    I've had the Comfort Home Protection Plan for a few years now and I am had ppt with the job that is done on my fireplaces. I am concerned that they are getting old and their will come a time when parts will need to be replaced and that the plan covers that but what if the parts are no longer available because of the age of the fireplaces. Will you replace the fireplaces under the plan?

    installation of AC/Furance

    Lina was very knowledgeable and helpful with providing options and help us in saving cost. She was friendly and we really enjoyed the service. She was very detailed in explaining the pros and cons, including the tech side of the units.

    AC Repair

    My story is similar to other stories I've read on this site. My AC fan started making noise at the beginning of the summer. I called Reliance who sent out a tech. He said he would have to order parts. Well...3 months, 5 techs & 2 managers later our AC hasn't been repaired!! Another company said they could have the parts in 2 days & it would be repaired by the end of the week. I had a protection plan which has since been cancelled & my money reimbursed. Thanks to Eric for finally getting this resolved. The other company will now be getting my business. Reliance customer service is atrocious it's no wonder Global TV's Consumer SOS recently paid them a visit on behalf of a customer who was overcharged on an AC install. I hope this helps more than 1 person out there in making a decision on who gets their business. UPDATE: Another company ordered the parts & repaired our AC in a matter of a week!! This is after Reliance said the replacement parts were unavailable & the unit could not be repaired. Think twice before choosing Reliance!!

    Rand, Team Member # 0924

    Randy was informative, courteous and focused on getting the job done. He went beyond simply servicing and offered some friendly advice on our overall heating and ventilation system that will cut our energy expenses and preserve the lifespan of our machinery. I would recommend Randy to provide a/c and furnace annual maintenance.

    Furnace and AC

    It was time to replace our old furnace and AC. I asked around for recommendations and my colleague suggested Reliance. I reviewed their line of products and preferred their higher quality of equipment to some other HVAC companies. The rep was experienced, professional and very friendly, and the installers were discreet, polite and professional, and even carried up my old heavy freezer to the street for me. To my surprise, I chose to rent and never have to worry about my equipment again.

    New AC & Installation

    Called Reliance for a quote for a new AC, got a call back and assessment scheduled within 48 hours. Darius came in on time, explained the options pros/cons clearly and patiently answered my questions - was not pushy - and gave me a very reasonable quotation. Met with two other companies and got their quotations, and decided to go with Reliance although it was not the cheapest quotation mainly for two reasons - I would rather call Reliance for issues which is an established company instead of an independent contractor, secondly because of their professionalism and not forcing you to buy something from them - that tells a lot about the company and their employees. Installation was scheduled 2days later as I requested. Mark and his team from Mr. Sauga showed up right on time, explained what they will be doing and finished the installation in 2.5 hours. Very professional in both interaction and workmanship. Ensured everything was working as expected, demonstrated the thermostat, gave some good tips, and made sure the work area was clean as it was before, shook hands and left. Thanks to Darius and Mark for such prompt, professional work!
