Reliance Home Comfort reviews (13631)

This involved the assessment of my old AC unit and with the help of Home Comfort Advisor, Bill Hopkins I decided to replace it with a new system. Due to the layout of the existing house and AC system it was a difficult job to perform without having to disrupt the structure. The 2 man crew who did the job were excellent - they took great care to do all work with a minimum of disruption. They were very courteous and went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the final product.

Sales support and installation was fantastic. Unfortunately, dealing with Reliance's accounts payable group has made this a very poor decision to go with Reliance. If I had to do this over, I would have used another vendor.

Wednesday to Saturday. No hot water. Four calls to Reliance. Rental. Four different technicians. Not happy. Tech # 4 apologized....offered new tank, I took it. No communication, no follow up! Cold, sore throat, eye infection....not a good time!

he was prompt very efficient and quick in and out in an hour, explained a few things about the service, very courteous. cleaned up but there was hardly anything to pick up. Very satisfied.

My air conditioner was malfunctioning, Matt G #1353 arrived, had everything checked out repaired and a new part ordered to improve the overall performance of the unit, in no time, very friendly and helpful. Thankfully I have a protection plan with Reliance and all the costs were covered.

Fast, efficient service. Our technician was very professional, from the time he arrived at our house to the time that he completed the job. He had our unit repaired and working again in no time.

Matt showed up within 30 minutes of my service call, checked that the vent pipe was indeed broken, then decided that my water heater was old enough to be replaced. Since it is a rental heater, the replacement was at no charge. Even though the service charge for the broken vent was on me, I felt that the quick response and extra service was worth a good review.

It was a good experience from the start. Bill Hopkins was very good at explaining the products and very helpful in guiding us to the right products for our home. he also explained the payment process and the rebate program. The installers were very were wonderful at what the did. They cleaned up any mess they made inside and outside of our home. I would recommend them in the future.

Ryon W is an amazing technician. He had the problem found and fixed in minutes. I welcome him back any time. Thank you Ryon for the great info and professionalism.

Do NOT install a tankless water heater. They drastically reduce the water flow in your house. You will be disappointed. Tankless water heaters sacrifice flow for heat. So water flow decreases dramatically to keep the water hot. The water flow rating for these units is determined in the southern states where the incoming water temperature is not as cold as Canada. In Canada (especially winter) the incoming water temp is so cold the units can't keep temp and flow high, so flow is sacrificed. Very disappointing.
