    Tankless Water Heater and Gas Line Upgrade

    I had Mark Botelho and team upgrade my gas line and install a tankless water heater. These gentlemen were very courteous and knowledgeable of the products. Installation appeared to go seamless [from my point of view] and they ensured everything was clean and I was brought up to speed on the product prior to their departure. Great Job!

    Installing Furnace, A/C and tankless water heater

    Christine Renaud, the sales rep from Reliance -great, professional, knowledgeable person. Understood all needs and provided very prompt advise explaining with details everything we need to know.All work was done when the appointment was made with no delay , very clean, fast. Service mgr came a few times during the work to check the techs. Very happy with the work done, with sales rep and technicians. Already recommended to other 2 families.

    HOT WATER TANK REPLACEMENT

    Sat March 30 - 1:30pm discover hot water tank leaking... 6:00pm hot water tank replaced. Couldn't be happier. Thanks to a GREAT technical expert AJIT.. you were very knowledgeable,respectful and tidy in our home. Job well done!!

    Installation of Rental Furnace/A/C

    Bill W (RCH1377) and Wes R (1893) arrived on time to install my rental furnace and A/C. Both gentlemen were quite friendly, courteous, conscientious and mindful of not soiling my floors. They wasted little time in getting the job started. I expected that it would take full day for the installation, but they were done by mid-afternoon. The division of labor between the two allowed the work to be done well and efficiently. They cleaned up after the job, and again Bill and Wes separately explained to me what was done and how to manage, maintain and operate the controls. They even went out of their way to remove a piece of furniture from my home. I have nothing but praise and thanks for a job well done. My thanks to Bill and Wes!

    Furnace/AC

    Furnace went down Easter weekend and a Service Tech responded quickly unfortunately the unit had to be replaced. Brad from sales worked out a great deal on the furnace and air conditioner Thanks to Jeff, Dan & Rob for an excellent install. Reliance has a great team!

    Ray E.#3143 Reliance should be Proud to have this Gentleman working for them. He was A1 from the time he came till the time he left. Solved and fixed the problem in short order.

    hot water tank repair

    If the rating was for Shawn Adams, it would have been 10 but the last time we had the same issue, the repair guy said it was a plumbing problem and he could not help us and we would have to hire our own plumber and blamed the problem on the builder who was responsible for the problem. Well it was a tank problem and Shawn fixed it with 10 star rating. Very friendly fast and efficient and more importantly, he actually helped us. If it were not for Shawn showing up this time and actually helping, we would have quit dealing with Reliance!!!

    furnace

    WARNING. DEAL WITH RELIANCE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! It is 6 days since I first called Reliance about my furnace and I still do not have it up and working. Wed April 1st my furnace was making noises and as a longterm customer of Reliance's Home Protection Plan, I gave them a call. The technician came that afternoon and determined it needed a new purge motor. The inventory of the local office suggested they had one, but the technician questioned the accuracy of this and suggested it would be difficult to find even if it was there. In the end he put in an order for a replacement and said, "It will be delivered directly to you. Call us when it arrives and we will come and install it." I waited around all day Thurs April 2nd and it did not arrive, so I called and spoke to Pat. She told me that the part was coming in from Lennox in the US and wont be delivered to you until Monday April 6. I wasn't happy and wrote my first less than flattering review. I was called later Thursday by a Reliance rep who told me that a service tech. would pick the part up at the warehouse Sat April 4 and bring it to my house to install. The tech. called Sat and said the part was not at the warehouse. He did come to my house and looked at the furnace. He got the furnace going for a few hours but it later stopped for good. It looked like repair was going to be pushed back to Monday. I spoke to 3 service reps on Monday - Barbara at 10:40 AM, Donna at 3:15PM and Blaine at 6PM. They all assured me that the part was on the truck and would be delivered that day. Blaine at 6 pm had the audacity to suggest that the hard working courier was often out delivering parts until 8 pm so I should just be patient. I called back at 9 pm and spoke to Maureen. She had no idea why the part had not been delivered and could not check with the parts dept as it closed at 4 pm. I phoned again Tues April 7 at 8 am and spoke to Barbara again. Barbara told me the part is back ordered and will be delivered Wed April 8. I wanted to speak to the parts dept. but she said I could not do that. She could only speak to them on my behalf. For years I have paid $20 per month for a Reliance Comfort Protection Plan. Reliance has failed me on this occasion. It seems like they ordered the part and then forgot about me. Surely if they really wanted to give good service, they would have found a way to get the part by now. Meanwhile the temp in my first floor living room is 13C and several degrees cooler upstairs.

    Water heater replacement

    Our hot water tank needed to be replaced. Andy #2312 called about 15 minutes before arriving to let me know he was on his way. He showed up and was very professional. He explained exactly what he was going to do, and let me know how long the job would take. And when he was done, he made sure that the area was cleaned up. Job well done Andy!! Thank you
