Our rental water heater started leaking due to corrosion where the leg was attached to the tank. I called Reliance Home Comfort in the evening and they dispatched a service person the next afternoon. Jordan (Team Member #0986) arrived within the time window that I was given, and replaced the tank with a new one (legless, this time - gas water heater standards have changed since the last one was installed, apparently, and he explained that the combustion air inlet is no longer allowed to be on the bottom so the tank rests on the floor with air inlets on the sides). He was quick, courteous and left the site clean (he put covers on his boots while indoors to avoid tracking snow inside). He estimated that the cost of replacing the tank, had it not been fully covered by the rental agreement, would have been about $800. Very happy with the service provided.

excellent service provided by Philip Sirek. he went beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was installed properly and that everything was covered to prevent a mess. Switched from the competition to Reliance.

I called Reliance this afternoon and a repair man named Ryon W. came out and determined that the water heater has rust in it. He put another call in and the water heater will be replaced tomorrow afternoon at a time which is convenient for me. Ryon was very nice and didn't even complain when the dog was trying to get in his way. He put covers over his boots and was helpful and informative. He had called prior to coming and arrived exactly when he said he would be here. I asked Ryon a few questions and he was quite knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Ryon!

My hot water tank is just under 3 years old. My family was noticing the recovery on the tank was slowing, i.e. from using hot water to returning to full hot again. Service Tech Chad came and had perfect timing, as arranged. He was polite, informed me of what he was examining and possible problems. His quick diagnosis and servicing of the burner and ignition system got the tank running. While it'll take a couple of days to make sure it's up and running to full capacity, I can say that the technician was excellent and he was prompt and called before coming. My call to the call centre was answered with courtesy and efficiency. This was my first service call for my rental and must admit I was impressed.

the reliance service by reliance employees is far superior than contracted agencies…..I only want reliance in my house please for future service calls thanks . want Richard please with reliance.

I had another company come in to fix my furnace and they shut it off because of carbon monoxide escaping. One of their reps came and gave me an estimate; and didn't bring any space heaters. My mother recommended Beth from Reliance. When I got in touch with Beth she came right over with space heaters and arranged for a new furnace and water heater to be installed the next day at a very reasonable price. The next day Matt and Neil were there to put my furnace in. I hardly knew the guys were there because they just did their thing and didn't bother me. Once they were done Neil showed me how to work the new thermostat and where the gas shut off was. Beth made sure to check in to make sure everything was the way it was supposed to be which allowed me to ask any questions I had. Overall I had a good experience with the three of them.

I have been renting a water heater for 16 years, service from another provider was unacceptable, after checking out reliance, we decided to go with them due to cost/no contract, both installers Otto & Evan were very professional & Friendly.

Matt was great. On time, clean, he explained everything he was doing and was polite and efficient. He helps make up for the horrible service we had from Dave when our furnace needed servicing.

Our 12 year old furnace broke down on the weekend and the first company I decided to contact was Reliance Home Comfort as we had our water heater with them. They immediately sent a Technician. Jason was very thorough in checking and advised us that it had to be replaced. He contacted Brendan Murray (Home Comfort Advisor) who came within an hour and went over our options. He was very patient in answering my questions and as we were expecting very cold temperatures that weekend, he managed to arrange for the new furnace to be installed on a Sunday which was much appreciated. The team that came to install the Furnace along with the Air Condition unit was professional; they completed the job in good time and cleaned up after. Thank you Brendan, Jason and the Installation Team, keep up the good service.
