Last Wednesday night, due to the very low temperature, one of the water pipe was broken inside the wall. We didn’t find if at the beginning as the burst pipe was inside the wall, but we saw a lot of water around our water tank, so we thought the water tank was leaking water. The next day morning at 8:00am we called the service line for repairing, and we were told the technician would be our home between 10am~2pm. Unfortunately, Reliance didn’t go through their word, until 2:10pm, still no one showed up, we had to call them again and told them we have been waiting for more than 6 hours as they stated the technician may come between 10am~2pm.
I was very unsatisfied with their service due to this delay. However, the reason I give 10 points to them is because one of their technician named Phillip C really helped us a lot and due to his help, things were getting better.
Phillip came to my house right away after I called Reliance again. After checking our water tank, Phillip helped us to find the burst water pipe (obviously Reliance won’t fix the water pipe) and since we don’t have any experience regarding this, so we don’t know who we have to call to fix the pipe. Phillip was very glad to help us to make the phone call and explained the situation to the plumbing company. He also told us how to deal with the moist wall and how to make phone call to the insurance company to make claim. He even wrote down the steps for us so that we can follow it up. He is so patient to explain what we need to do and those good suggestions were out of his responsibility I believe.
Now things are getting better, the burst water pipe was fixed and the wet floor will be fixed in future since insurance company will pay for the cost. Phillip is definitely a very good guy with professional manner and very helpful, if we need help in future, we will call him first for help and recommend to my friend for sure.
