    Furnace, air conditioning, tankless hot water system

    My wife and I recently purchased a house with a 30 year old furnace, 15 year old air conditioner and hot water tank all of which were at the end of their life cycle. Brendan Murray was my advisor and did an excellent job explaining everything. With his guidance I was able to select a new furnace, a/c and tankless water heater. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Brendan. The installation crew were also excellent. They arrived promptly and worked overtime to make sure my house was done properly. Overall I am extremely pleased with Reliance Home Comfort.

    Hot water heater installation

    I just wanted to take the time to thank-you and a special thanks to a young man named John team member number 2321. When I scheduled the appointment on Feb3rd. I was told someone would be here today the 4th. between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. John showed up shortly after 11:00 A.M. and did an awesome job. This young man is polite, courteous and very professional in his field. If in the future we need a furnace. or A.C. I will certainly recommend your company . Thanks again and Please make sure John gets some recognition for his hard work.

    Replacement of water heater exhaust fan

    The exhaust fan on our hot water tank burned out and we needed a new one. The people at reliance home comfort made us wait for 2 whole days without hot water while they mismanaged simple things like ordering and shipping parts and communicating with their technicians about the issue we were having. Overall I give the company's management a D minus for their incompetence. On the other hand our technician was awesome. It was Kyle, CBA1650. Kyle was very professional and got the installation done quickly and correctly and got our hot water working again. I give Kyle an A plus for how well he did his job, and he offered us some helpful advice, and was very friendly. Great job Kyle, and thanks! Mike K

    Hot water tank rental

    They took over from another company and start charging more than their own tariff. Few months ago, they start charging even more because, "everything is going up". Yes, this is their literal excuse. Supervisors are neither on duty nor call back. Very bad.

    Hot Water tank

    We had an issue with the Hot Water Tank Burner keep going off and we called Reliance for the repair. Saleem Malik was the technician who came to take a look. He was very courteous, did a thorough check of the burner and the rest of the Hot Water Tank parts. He was able to find the problem and fix it for us. I am very pleased and happy with the job Saleem had done. Thank you

    Fixing a downed heating system

    2 days without heat. The re-assuring, capable, polite, courteous, charismatic Richard Knicely was allocated to my location. Fixed what needed to be fixed in record time. When you need to work full-time, Reliance demanding you be home during a 4-hour period is disconcerting "the serviceman will leave if you are not there when he comes" is quite a threat. If service persons recorded the time of every completed call on the system, office staff should be able to give an ETA to people in the queue who call in or at least tell them where they are in the line-up. It appears that the office staff have been told that there is no give for the customer in timing - all advantage to Reliance!

    water tank dirty

    a serviceman by the name of same #1382 came to see the situation and saw that the water inside the watertank was dirty, he was very pleasant to talk to, he explained what needed to be done so when we had to call in to make a day to be changed we asked for him, great guy to have a conversation with , I even offered to assist him in anyway but he said he had it all under control

    Furnace Humidifier

    Adam came out to look at my humidifier and solved the problem in a flash. Very professional. Explained problem, how it was fixed and how the humidifier will work in the future. Very good. 10/10 - Thanks Adam. Reliance starts the long climb to respectability with their warranty service response on this piece of work.

    water tank

    Great service from Bryan 3705 Arrived during timeframe stated .Replaced the exhaust motor on the water tank and also provided good recommendations for future service. Very satisfied with todays service call.

    Furnace repair

    Busted furnace exhaust fan. Gary (#0793) showed up promptly and was very friendly and personable! He diagnosed the issue and worked diligently to locate a replacement part for our furnace. The part was installed a short time later and Gary called us (we had to leave for an appointment) to let us know that everything had been fixed! Thanks for the quick work, Gary!! :) Also a big thanks to Reliance for coming through on the Home Comfort Protection plan. I was able to get through to the service centre on the phone at 4am who helped me to book a service appointment that same morning. Gary arrived and fixed the problem with absolutely no hassle, cost, or fine print. Would 100% definitely recommend!
