    Furnace stopped working

    My furnace shut down at 11:00 pm and I called Reliance in the morning they where at my door and within a few hours they fixed my furnace. The service was performed by Farhad a most competent technician. He went out of his way to acquire the needed part for my aging furnace and therefore had my house warm again in no time. Wonderful Service by Farhad. Thank you very much Farhad, your service was ever so appreciated!

    Hot Water Heater not working

    On January 24th 2015 we discovered that we did not have any hot water. We called Reliance and were advised to unplug to reset it and wait for 45 minutes. We waited for 45 minutes and did not have any hot water. We called back and they dispatched a service technician. Wally (0480) arrived within an hour of the phone call. He arrived at approximately 11:00am and had the problem fixed by 11:30am and was on his way. He was very polite and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised as it occurred on a Saturday. We also did not have to pay for the service call or the repair as we are renting the hot water heater a real plus for renting.

    water heater

    The technician who ariived my home to fix my watter heater. Was provisional and some one who new what he was doing. Repair did not take long. Work was done.

    Heating and Cooling System

    Our furnace was flagged by Enbridge in the afternoon, and Alexander McCowan from Reliance showed up with in 2 hrs after the flagging. Alex was very polite and thorough. He verified the claims made by the Enbridge Technician and reconfirmed the problem that was reported by Enbridge. Alex notified Matt Santos, who is a Home Comfort Advisor with Reliance, about our furnace situation and got us a same day appointment. Matt showed up within time window that Alex provided us. He walked us through the different boons and banes of choosing different heating and cooling options provided by Reliance. He also shared the pros and cons of renting vs paying for the entire system. After listening and taking in all of the information, we decided to rent our new heating and cooling system. Matt set up an installation for us for Monday morning. Looking forward to getting heat back again and trying to keep warm until then. Alex and Matt were extremely proficient in their jobs and they provided us with the right amount of information to make the right decision for our needs. I wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.

    Furnace repair

    We had our furnace broken, called help line and asked for immediate help. Agent was very helpful and scheduled an appointment at the nearest time possible. Heqiang Zhang called and came at the time he indicated, was able to find out the issue quickly and replaced part without any delay. Very professional and quick help. Thanks!

    Heating & hot water

    I ordered a new hot water tank from Reliance and was installed yesterday-Friday January 30, 2015. The 'subcontractor' Heatmasters installed the tank however forgot to turn on the natural gas. The temperature outside was -15 and the house was cool since the afternoon. I called them & they said that someone was coming out to see the issue. On a hunch I also called Reliance Service and Paul W # 2060 came out and simply turned on the natural gas for us. Thanks to Paul for helping us. Not impressed with Heatmasters where they came and installed , did not test, and not turn on the natural gas on a very cold evening !! I will be sending a e-mail to the BBB about the company Heatmasters. Unacceptable ! Satisfied with Reliance Home Comfort. Not Satisfied with Heatmasters!

    Furnace Not Heating

    Our furnanace was not turning on. It was fluctuations for the past couple of days. Last year we had Jim come and replace igniter. This year Jim came again and was very honest about the age of our furnace and the likely reason for its demise. He was super helpful and not pushy. He was reasonable, and you could tell that he enjoys his job. Side note: he won an award for best repair man, so you know you can trust him to fix your appliance. They realize that it is a costly repair if you need to replace it, so they try to help as much as possible. Thanks john and the team!

    Furnace Service

    Reliance contacted us to advise that a routine service was due for our furnace, which is rented. We were given a time when we could expect the serviceman to contact us. The serviceman, Leland (employee #0940), called us as promised and arrived at our door within the estimated time frame. Leland carried out the service efficiently and disclosed that a part required replacement. He advised that he would collect the part and return to replace it and when he anticipated the complete job would be completed. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

    Furnace, AC

    Bill H was wonderful guide through the process of selecting a furnace/ac and water heater. He kept his promised schedule, answered all our questions and didn't put any pressure on us. We felt very comfortable with him. We highly recommend him.

    No hot water

    Woke up with no hot water and quickly gave reliance a call. Within 2 hours employee #2513 showed up and had the tank running again in no time. Great service and would highly recommend reliance to anyone.
