    Change of Gas Valve

    We had a problem with our hot water - none. Called Reliance late last night and was greeted with a professional voice on the other end. She said somebody could come out the next day between 1-5. Sure enough a service advisor came out, at the specified time. Rare to hear and almost rare to experience. He was a very knowledgable individual. Philip Sirek diagnosed the problem in a second and proceeded to repair the issue. I even got a few pointers on what to look for. The whole job was done professionally, efficiently and pleasantly. Thank you Reliance for employing a great group of people. In a world where advisors often get a bad rap, it is good to know that there are still great ones out there. Job well done!

    Hot Water Tank Replacement

    Hot water heater was discharging rusty sediment which was coming through our faucets. I phoned Reliance at 8:30pm Dec. 1st and had an appointment booked for Dec. 2nd first thing in the morning. Wes C. arrived well within the quoted appointment window. Wes was very professional and courteous. He very quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately recommended a new replacement tank. Wes was able to perform the replacement on the spot which saved me from having to take more time away from work. I very much appreciate that Wes took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Wes finished up the job in a timely manner and was very neat and tidy. Highly recommended.

    Annual Furnace Maintenance

    Adam called to inquire if he could come earlier than the scheduled time, which was great as we could get along with our day. Adam was professional, courteous and polite, explained what he was doing and that all was good with our furnace. Thanks Adam hope to see you again next maintenance.

    Furnace protection plan

    I would like to appreciate the technician who provided the excellent service during the repair of my furnace. Mr. Derrick Phung was very professional to find the problem and quickly solve it.     No hot water

    Kajan came to fix my waterheater as there was no hot water coming out and he was professional and helped fix it within 30 minutes! Also the service was fast as I called at 6 p.m. And the technician arrived at 6.25 p.m.

    New furnace and Water Heating Tank

    Our old furnace stopped working due to the burned out electric elements and we had to substitute it urgently together with a heating tank since it was a combined unit. We were lucky that we had a chance to work through the whole issue together with Brendan Murray. He took time to come over the same day despite the late hours, explained us all the details and coordinated the time for the crew to install new equipment. Brendan is very knowledgeable person and we really appreciated his advice. The installation team (2 people) headed by Mark was great, very friendly and skilled - they did a great job installing new equipment. I am happy to recommend Brendan and Reliance Home Comfort to my friends and family.

    water tank and heating

    Reliance advisor Wes C was fabulous. he was very professional and came to move my water tank after it had been installed incorrectly too close to my broken washing machine in which i needed to replace and could not get the washing machine out.of the space. My complaint is with the call center and the level of communication between the advisors and the call center. This is the 5-6th visit and each time the advisors arrived not knowing what needed to be done. sometimes they were unprepared and had to return, other times they were mis informed by the work order from the call center. i have been inconvenienced by taking time off work to wait for hours to no avail and no one showing up because the excuse was that they were not told about the appointment in the first place. i have even called back after waiting for long periods of time to be told that the technician has been dispatched and would be here in 5-10 minutes. Still no one showed up. . My suggestion would be for the call center to have access to the reliance advisors cell phone numbers as the dispatch doesnt seem to know whats going on either. my best service was dealing directly with the reliance advisors or technicians who have all been most helpful. for this reason i will continue to be a reliance customer. However, your call center and dispatch are very unorganized and need to be more thorough in their booking times. i have lost a lot of time from work due to this miscommunication and blunder of 4 hour windows and no one showing up.iT HAS NOT HAPPENED ONCE BUT MANY TIMES. a professional company such as yourselves should try to be more organized with your appointments and proper timing. I have lost far too much time off work and have almost been fired. I have been in tears and very upset with the procedure. i have also dealt with Haley in customer service and had to phone her on numerous occasions.She is obviously too busy to phone back. i work in the retail field and i would NEVER treat my customers this way.

    Gas space heater sale and install

    Very happy with product we got following the advice from Shon Cantin, the Sudbury Sales Manager for Reliance. The existing gas space heater was not working so we were looking to fixing the problem by either repairing it or replacing it. Shon was very professional and knowledgeable and he advised us to purchase a Rinnai space heater, the most efficient in the industry. He explained to us the risks of operating the specific model we had (very old and with known CO leakage issues) so we purchased the Rinnai unit. THE BEST PURCHASE we had ever made, that unit is worth its weight in gold. It used to take us 3-4 hrs to get the temperature from 10 to 17-18 Celsius and now it takes only 15 minutes. It also has many efficiency settings (Economy mode, Set back mode) that lowers the cost of operating it without taking away from the comfort.     HOT WATER TANK LEAKING

    Wes C (RCH2380) arrived at my house within 20 minutes of my request for service - hot water tank was leaking all over the place. He quickly assessed the situation & recommended the tank be replaced. The work was done quickly and he took the time to explain the new equipment. AWESOME job Wes - I'd score him higher than 5 stars if I could!!!
