My first contact with MegaCity was a repair call on my old furnace that was initially taken care promptly, although another system failed within a couple of weeks. The service technician Darin was very pleasant, answered questions to my satisfaction. When I was ready to replace my heating system, although I had got three other estimates and two of these were less than or equal to estimate from MegaCity, I decided to purchase from MegaCity solely on the fact that I was confident with Darin personally doing the work in my home. I was not disappointed, the job was done as promised on schedule, I had heat and hot water in my home for the first time in 3 long weeks and there was no excessive mess left behind. The technicians were very professional in their work and general deportment, I am quite happy with the work that has been done, still can't believe how quiet this furnace is!

Our HVAC situation was complicated; we had a Lennox boiler and heat exchanger unit that was constantly breaking down, probably because it was not able to deal with the demands of heat, hot water and the radiant floor heating in our basement. We got quotes from 5-10 different HVAC companies and received a lot of different and confusing advice. The range to replace/repair our system was $5500 to $14000. My husband stumbled on Megacity by fluke and we are both glad he did! Darin at Megacity is a total professional and very good at what he does. He is excellent at explaining HVAC (no small feat!) is extremely thorough, very tidy while working and respectful of your needs. We had been told by other companies that we would have no heat or hot water for 2 days and possibly 3--a difficult situation to accommodate when you're at home with 2 small kids. By painstakingly reworking our system, Darin was able to minimize the inconvenience to us--we had no hot water for about an hour, no heat for a few, and that was it! In addition, the HVAC solution proposed by Darin enabled us to maximize our government energy rebates while making our new system amazingly energy efficient. This was the most expensive project we've done on our home, but it was truly the most painless. The professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail and care taken by Darren and John was absolutely outstanding. They showed up on time and were lovely to deal with. Their price was considerably less than that quoted by other companies for a similar configuration. They reorganied the pipes in our basement to make them safer. I would unhesitatingly recommend this company to anyone who needs a new furnace/hot water heater.

Megacity were very responsive and professional to deal with. A quote for services was provided quickly and the representative was informative, answering all my questions. The work was done quickly with little mess. I would definitely recommend them.
