Last year we purchased an older home, where 3 windows need upgrading. We were happy with the rest of the windows and during our research found out that Brock Doors & Windows had installed the rest. We gave Brock a call and they sent a salesperson (Dorian) to asses the work and provide an estimate. We were pleased with the quote and moved forward. Evgeni (the installer) called us to schedule a convenient time to double check measurements before manufacturing would start. About 3 weeks later Evgeni called to inform us the windows were ready and to schedule a convenient install date and time. Evgeni and his two assistants arrived on time, protected our floors, completely removed the old windows, installed new windows, foam insulted, caulked the outside, installed new casing and then cleaned up. I am very pleased with the work done, Thanks Brock Doors & Windows!

Evgeni and his men replaced our living/bedroom windows in the effective way and the windows are fit and in a good quality. They also cleaned up mess after work. Well done.

We needed to replace all 16 windows in the upper story of our 15-year-old home. Dealing with Brock was a pleasure right from the start, as salesperson Steve came right on time and gave a very professional assessment & estimate, no pressure at all (unlike some of the other companies we got estimates from). From the moment we signed the contract with Brock, everything went smoothly and ahead of schedule. The installer, Sokol, came for the detailed measurements about a week ahead of time, and although we were told the windows would be installed within 6-8 weeks, they were done in 4. Sokol and his team were wonderful to have in our house for the two-day job. They were very hard-working, professional and polite, and cleaned up diligently after the work was done. They conducted the work itself masterfully, including dealing beautifully with a couple of challenges our house threw at them. It was a pleasure to deal with Brock, and we will be happy to hire them when the time comes to replace the other windows in our home.

My wife and I live in a 14yr old house, with original builders windows. Over the last year or two the seal in many had gone leaving moisture between the panes, and one had even cracked. We contacted a multitude of manufacturers and installers about new windows and received quotes from four. Bill Kovacs @ Brock came out and took us through the options, and then I did my research through lots of web forums. We selected Brock due to their reputation, excellent salesmanship (Bill) and professionalism, and the quality of their products (NorthStar) consistently received excellent reviews. I'm an engineer but I'm not going to claim to know everything there is to know about windows, vinyl, colourant, and spacers, but it is pretty clear that there are three or four excellent manufacturers and then everyone else well below. NorthStar is definitely in that group, and comgined with the professionalism was the choice we made. Nick came out and measured, and even suggested we *NOT* do one of our windows right now, saving us some money. Mike & team did the installation and did an excellent job. Renovation is always going to cause disturbance and dust, but they did their best to tarp and cover everything, and were prompt and on-time. Everything was cleaned up to the best of their ability, and in 24hrs the house is again spotless. Several neighbours have been by, and all have complimented us on the upgrade to triple pane, and new configurations (casements, picture arrangements and awnings). I'm not affiliated in any way (despite this sounding too glowing to be true), but am very pleased with what we got done (9 large windows + patio door with built-in blinds) and the resulting workmanship. Twenty year old windows in our home in desperate need of replacement – ice around the INSIDE of the windows during this last cold winter – no putting off the job anymore! We did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before deciding which companies to call for appointments as this is a very major cost April 5, 2014 – called to make appt. “someone will call you back within 24 hours” April 6 – 2014 – Brock called back and made 1st appt April 8 – Sales Rep Bill showed up exactly on time with a great deal of samples and knowledge; Bill knows windows and could tell he was passionate about windows! Brock had the colour matching special so we took advantage of that We had 3 other window companies come for quotes – one company NEVER sent a quote! Another local company, we weren’t fussy with the sales rep and a friends’ recommendation, while the rep was good, just felt it better to go with Brock with all their warranties, experience, etc April 12 – Bill came back and prepared a rather detailed contract, along with a 25% deposit April 17 – Installer Eric called early AM and said, “I can come to measure the windows later today”…..ah, I was working to afford the windows! Luckily, spouse was at home to let Eric do his measurements May 12 – Eric called early AM again and said, “I have tomorrow and Wednesday” to install…..luckily, spouse was available again; and believe me, this was a complete fluke he would be available several days in a row May 13 – 14 – Eric and the crew arrived on time and started the window replacement; they worked and hammered and caulked and worked until 5 pm sharp; we also had Brock remove and re-install our California shutters; they did not complete re-installing 3 California shutters and said, “I will be back on Sunday” to finish the job May 17 – I called Eric to ask what time he would come on Sunday (the next day) and he said he could finish in about one hour; Eric arrived and finished the job and we paid Our house was quite dusty after the install and while Brock did vacuum, dust on all flat surfaces; quickly remedied with a dusting. Overall, we were very satisfied with the job Brock did. They came on time, did what they said they would do. Windows look excellent, neighbours have complimented us on the colour matching. It is much quieter in our rooms (especially the master bedroom). I guess the real test will be during winter and see if there is ICE on the inside. After spending $11,000 – I hope not ! The only thing that is preventing me from giving a “10” rating is when they called for the measurements and install and gave us exactly 10 minutes’ notice. As working people, we really do need more time, so perhaps they can work on that part. Recommend Brock for sure.

We previously had windows installed and were very pleased. We asked them to replace our inside garage and front entrance door. This began in August, 2013 with the estimate. Job finally completed May, 2014. Many mess ups with the order along the way. Very poor customer service. Many phone calls from us not returned. Still not completely satisfied with the installation, but we have given up. Will definitely never use this company again nor will we recommend their service. This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Brock doors and windows is rock.....North Star window is lifetime warranty, The installer, Evgeni and Ben, the helper are the best...on time, polite, precision, accuracy, clean...I will happy to continue to use their service as time goes by.

Installer Evgeni (Eugene) is very a very good installer. (1) Called us when he was a bit late from Mississauga. (2) Very careful in every process to install the patio door. No mess after the work. (3) Very polite and good manner.

When we decided to replace our windows and doors, we had four companies in to quote. We chose Brock Windows and Doors and couldn't be happier with the decision. Our sales representative, Sandy, was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions. Unlike the reps from other companies, he didn't layer on the pressure or try to up-sell us into things we didn't need (like extra glazing, stay-clean finishes or brick-to-brick installation). Brock's pricing was excellent, and as part of a special seasonal deal they upgraded us to triple-pane windows free of change. The installation was delayed a day by rain, but Alex and his team were wonderful about rescheduling to a date that was convenient for us. They worked quickly and were friendly, professional and exceptionally tidy, leaving the house and yard as clean as they found it. The doors and windows themselves look amazing and function well. It's amazing the difference they make in our home's appearance, and I can only imagine how much more energy efficient the place will be come winter.
