So, first off, Marley is the pushiest sales person ever. I bought a 1000 dollar kitchen table set from her, and waiting for delevery one night in Dec, 2008. The table never came, and when I called she told me "this never happens. I'll check into it and call you back." She didn't call back, so I called her to find out what happened. She had no answer, but was rude and didn't seem concerned in the least. Then, I found out the next day that the table had apparently "broken on the truck." She offered me another table. I declined and told her I wanted a refund right away. She agreed and said she would do so on my credit card. Over the next month, she kept on telling me that it had been refunded to my credit card even though Visa had no record of it. She even signed a paper saying so- so she proving that she is not very business savy... as the refund was never done as verified by Visa. I contacted her daily for a month, and she kept on telling me that the refund had been done and she couldn't do anything without her "accountant" which is a common theme throughout these reviews... Finally, my father called in (a doctor) and told her that if I didn't have a refund in the next 24 hours, he'd have a lawyers letter sent. She then continued to call me a spoiled brat to my FATHER! (I'm in my young 20's, a working professional,) again proving her lack of business skills and intelligence. Finally I showed up to get my refund, which she rudely and bitterly did in front of me- except she did it 2$ short. What a petty petty person. STAY AWAY from these scam artists!

I am long overdue in writing this review. We purchased a bedroom set from Marlee in the fall of 2007, and paid a large deposit. Marlee was very nice until she had our money. We didn't need the set until March 2008 when we moved into our new home, and they said this was not a problem. When the set did arrive, one piece was missing (an ottoman), one of the drawers in the armoire stank like rancid mould (and still does!!!), and there were problems with drawers not sliding properly, and uneven staining of the furnture, and some scratches. Not only that, but we were charged twice for the ottoman, which was eventually delivered about one month later. We believe we were very patient, waiting to be phoned back by Marlee. She gave us quite the runaround. We went into the store and requested that she credit us back onto our credit card for the additional ottoman charge. She told us she couldn't; that it had to be done by her accountant at their office. Many phone calls later, with Marlee clearly avoiding us, being rude, etc., she finally did process a credit and mailed it to us. None of our other problems were addressed. I even spoke with her son and daughter, who are also involved in this business. They were the ones who delivered the ottoman when they finally got it in stock. They saw the other areas of unacceptable workmanship and promised replacement of one of the night tables, and the drawer in the armoire that stinks.....these pieces never came and we finally gave up. These people have very very poor customer relationship skills. Marlee in particular is quite cordial until she makes a sale, then neglects the customer. They really should be ashamed of how they conduct their business. I wholeheartedly warn anyone from making any major purchase in this store.

The kitchen doorknobs were spectacular. I wanted soemthing modern and they definately had a variety items to choose from. I am so satisfied! I chose the black knobs that accent the dark wood - it is so fresh, definately ready for spring entertaining.

My husband and I purchased a sofa set In March 2008. shortly after the delivery, the legs of the sofa broke. My husband tried to fix them and they broke time and time again causing us a great deal of embarrasment and agony in front of our guests. We let Marlee know of the problem and she has assured us that the problem will be fixed. Nothing has been done yet. Furthermore for the last four months now our originally grey sofa set is turning green!!!!!.The leather is actually turning green. The manufacturer came to our house to check whetheror not the sofa set was actually damaged. This was almost two months ago and nothing is done yet. we are getting extremely frustrated. we would not buy anything else from this store and we would not reccomend it to anybody.

This store should not be allowed to be in business. Marley is a crook. They are thieves. Marley sold me a table and I paid in full. they said they would deliver and they never did. The table doesn't exist and they won't give me a refund. I'm going to sue them. DON'T ever shop here. You will regret it. You're dealing with crooks who have no shame.

Ordered 2 chairs on January 5/2008. In the bigger scheme of things this was a small order and I understand it wouldn't be a top priority. Was told they would arrive in 6 weeks and had to pay in full. This order was the worst retail service experience I have ever had the misfortune to be part of. This company is either not capable of tracking their orders or were simply unwilling to tell me why my order that was supposed to take 6 weeks is still not available 18 weeks later. I still don't know where it is or when it will be in. I keep getting told that it will arrive "any day now" or "arrive in 10 days". Marely became defensive when I questioned why the order was taking so long and immediately offered that I cannot get a refund when I tried to press for details of why the order was missing in action and taking 3 times longer than it was supposed to. At any point in this transaction if she had of offered regrets or apologies about the long time I would not have been so dissatisfied but it was clear that she did not wish to provide any sort of service or information to make the customer feel confident there were no issues. Would never recommend this store to anyone who wanted good service and a first-class operation that cared about their customers. I am sorry I dealt with the store and can only hope that someday I actually receive my order.

Bought a bedroom suite that was to arrive in 3 weeks which turned into 3 months and still never got the furniture. Didn't want to wait for the furniture to arrive any longer and had a hassle getting a refund from the store. It wouldn't have been that big a deal if I hadn't paid for it in full ($3000). If they don't have it in stock, then don't waste your time waiting for it.

I had the pleasure of dealing with 4 u furniture, they allowed me to purchase my dream bedroom set as a bridal registry. I picked my furniture and my wedding guests came and purchased it for me. They were exeptional in service and sales and were the easiest to work with. Marley and Kim were prompt with the delivery and in answering any of my questions or concerns. I have been sleeping in my new set for some time and I have to say I could not be happier. Its not very often that you are impressed beyond your expectations, but I have to say I was completely satisfied with 4 U Furniture. I would reccommend this company for the products and service at any qiven time.

I purchased my dream bedroom furniture a while back and I must say that my entire experience from start to finish was such a pleasure!! The sales staff was very infomative and patient with all my questions and requests. They always keep their showroom looking fresh & exciting as well...I look forward to my next purchase!

I absolutely love this store! After having shopped around at all the big box furniture stores and found nothing, I was lucky enough to come across 4U Furniture. I had the pleasure of dealing with both Kim and Marley. Contrary to the other reviews on this website, the furniture, price, delivery and service were optimum. You get good furniture at a great price....Kim even called me a few days after delivery to ask if I was satisfied with how the bedroom set worked in the space (this was a concern I had as this was my first time purchasing a King Size bed)! I have spent tens of thousands of dollars furnishing my home and cottage at many other stores and have never had anyone call me after the sale was done. Marley is definitely a pro when it comes to linens, I had a paint swatch with me and between that and the colour of the furniture she was able to pick the perfect colour linen set for me. My bedroom is now my favourite room in the house....keep up the good work!
