    Annual A/C and furnace check

James came to do our annual check of equipment. Extremely personable, friendly, polite. Took the time to explain things, and gave some very useful, common sense tips. Excellent service! Thank you!!

    Furnace Repair

Had a new furnace installed in 2011 with 10 year warranty which included annual servicing for free (well I am sure it is accounted for in the pricing), First few years had them come out and do the necessary checks, but life is busy and never got around to staying up to date. Turned the furnace off last week as the outside temperature was fantastic, and thought winter was over, last few days have been cold so turned it back on. For some reason it didn't work, so called Aire One to come and check. They were very quick to tell me because I wasn't up to date with annual checks, that now I had to pay a $99 dispatch fee. Was never advised in 2011 this would be the case. But I am sure it is probably covered in some small print somewhere, will need to find the contract to validate that to be the case, seems like a money grab...but whatever. Tech shows up 2 hours later, takes a look and says a motor and a pan needs to be replaced, which is under warranty but the labor is not??? again because I hadn't had annual check ups. Tech says happens all the time, it is very typical and generally a maintenance item. So labor plus dispatch fee comes to $500 and needs to be paid on the spot, as the tech is coming in tomorrow to install the parts. Fine, decide to take the day off of work to ensure I can let the tech into the home to do the repairs, then called at 9:30 to be advised that parts are not available until Monday. NOT TRUE, parts are available they just don't work on the weekend and wont get the parts until later today or Saturday. I am sure they would not accept me telling them, I don't have the money to pay you today, have to wait until next week. CRAZY....that is what you get for payment in advance and having people make commitments they cannot live up to. now have no choice, lost a days work, and have no furnace until monday...girl whom called me back very poor attitude. Oh well I suppose it is my fault for not having the annual maintenance done, which likely would not have uncovered this issue as the crack in the pan is a hot cold issue, would have and could have happened anytime. TOUGH LESSONS LEARNED

Would giving everything for free to Mario have been fair to the thousands of customers who honour their purchase agreements? Would it be fair to the thousands of customers buying filters from us to give them to Mario for free only because he writes bad reviews everywhere? Would it be respectful to the thousands of customers who have plans with Aire One to give Mario the same advantages for free? Would it be fair to the thousands of customers who got extended warranties for installations after 2014 for Aire One to extend the same rights to Mario only because he trashes us everywhere? Yes, Mario is right: we do not special order parts without first collecting payment. Yes Mario is right: when he bought the equipment from us in 2010 the warranty required yearly tuneups. Which he did not do. As a result Mario's labour warranty expired in 2011 and parts warranty expired in 2015. In 2013 we bent the rules and did complete warranty work for free, when we should have charged labour, no parts. In 2017, seven years after the installation and 2 years after his parts warranty expiry and 6 years after his labour warranty expiry, we still decided to offer Mario free parts and only charge for labour. This service call happened on April 20, 2017. The day temperatures were around 15C and night temps did not drop below 5C. Unfortunately the parts arrived later than what we would have wanted, and thus the repair happened on Monday. Truth is Mario would have been happy if we did everything for free, including filters and weekend.

    Furnace and Airconditioner

Called for a maintenance check on my 20 year old furnace.Found some costly repairs so opted to replace both furnace and A/C(15 yrs). Mike explained all my options the next day and had it installed by following Monday. Was completley satisfied with how everything was handled in a professional and timely manner. Thank you for making it as painless as possible.

    New rental water heater

Needed a new water heater and my brother recommend me to you guys. Jason (I think that was his name) was very good on the phone with my questions. Your prices were better then one of your competitors. And the two young men that installed the water heater were friendly and knowledgeable.

    Answer from pro:

When I saw an "8" I thought "Ooops, we did something wrong"....and then I read: we were recommended, Jason was very good on the phone, our price was better, and the installers knew what they were doing....

    New furnace and air conditioner

We had the assessment of our home done by Colin , a technical Comfort Consultant of Aireone heating and Cooling. He was very thorough on explaining what products he was recommending for our home, the warranty terms they carried, the financing that was available and the several rebate that we're currently being offered. He didn't pressure us into making a decision that day, which is refreshing today. He also talked different manufactures that were available to us and we choose Carrier which we had had in the past and we're pleased with.We settled on a potential install date which we ended up changing with no problem. The install went without a hitch by 2 very professional men. They arrived on time,on a very wet and rainy day and got to work. They had to deal with changing pipes in an finished ceiling and were a little concerned at first but no problem. They levelled the furnace which it wasn't before, sealed the seams, showed how to clean the new filter system and how often.took away all the garbage and tidied up before leaving. The office even called that night to make sure everything was complete and we were happy.True customer service all around.Thank-you .

    New Furnace

It all started with the gentleman (James) who did a service check. He went above and beyond to explain everything, and then arranged to have a salesman (Matt) attend ASAP, who then explained everything and answered all of our questions. The installers (sorry I can't remember their names)were here 1/ hour early and did a great job. The Energy Advisor (Owen) came later this afternoon and took his time to explain. From start to finish less than 24 hours and we have a brand new high efficient furnace. Thank you to everyone involved. You made it painless and took your time to explain every step.

    Furnace and AC installation

We purchased our current house the previous year and knew the furnace and heat pump were very old and needed replacing. Early this spring our (rental) hot water heater started leaking so we had Aire One in to replace it. They noted the condition of the furnace and that the flue had completely rotted away. Within 2 days we were back up and running with a new high efficiency system. Great job and great installation team - thanks guys!

Replaced a Lemon with a Quiet Rose

Our 10 year old York Furnace turned out to be a LEMON. Thanks to Aire One they managed to keep it going all that time with their amazing service and support. They installed a new Carrier that was amazingly quiet and they put in cold air returns in our basement in the most amazing spots without damaging the present walls, etc. The installation/sales team was superb! Thank you to Jr., Gavin and Colin. You guys are amazing. Always trust the BEST!!!!

    Answer from pro:

I love the "Quiet Rose" title! Thank you for being a repeat customer of ours and I am very sorry the older furnace did not live up to its expectations. I am positive the new one will serve you well.
