I was shopping around for a good hardwood flooring store with reputable installers. I came across Alliance Floor Source on HomeStars and read some really good reviews so I decided to visit their showroom (actually visited their showroom 3 times before deciding to give them my business). Their store was quite far from where I live but with 100+ positive reviews, I had to at least check them out. Timea and Lehel were very honest, knowledgeable, willing to work with my budget, patient and gave helpful advice and opinions. They placed great importance on providing exceptional customer service and were very professional in how they conduct their business. Also, when Lehel came over to do the estimate, he was even kind enough to drop me off at my office. The installers/contractors were friendly hardworking guys who took their time to level the concrete subfloor and install the hardwood floors. They made sure that everything was satisfactory, cleaned up (lots of dust during the installation), and took away all the garbage. Thank you again Lehel, Timea, and their staff for installing beautiful maple floors in my condo.

It was a pleasure to deal with Alliance Floor Source. Timea provided a warm greeting the minute we walked into their store, she is friendly and knowledgable when helped us with our selection. Lehel came over in the weekend and conducted measurement and estimate. Even though there was a tiny imperfection due to the way the subcontractor installed the trim, Lehel came back for a inspection and had the subcontractor fix the issue. Overall, I will highly recommend Alliance Floor Source to everyone for a job well done.

I was very pleased with my experience with Alliance Flooring. The sales reps were very kind, considerate and accommodating. They even allowed me to take samples home and picked them up from me as I didn’t have a car to return them! When it came time to installation, the job was very well done with impeccable detail and professionalism. They did not rush the job nor or skip out on any detail. My installation took an extra day as they did not want to rush any of it, which I was happy with. Prices were reasonable and overall I am very pleased with my experience with Timea and Lehel from Alliance!

We hired Alliance Floor Source to install new carpeting and refinish existing hardwood for us. I would like to say that dealing with Lehel and Timea at Alliance was a very pleasurable experience. Their prices were very competitive if not the best and I would definitely consider Alliance Floor Source and their staff for future business.

The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. The installers showed up on time, work hard and completed the 400 ft.² project exactly when they said it would be done. There was an issue with a tricky transition between new and old floors that didn't work out the first time, but the firm returned without delay and fixed it to my satisfaction. Their reasonable prices, pleasant demeanor and quality workmanship are a winning combination. If you are shopping around for a flooring company you should put Alliance Floor Source at the top of your list.

The custom inlaid wood floor is spectacular. The work was done quickly and with great respect for our needs. The installer (Gabor) should really be called an artist. We definitely recommend Alliance Flooring.

Our new oak floor looks spectacular. It transformed our front entrance and kitchen. The quality of workmanship and customer service far exceeded our expectation, and was even under budget. We look forward to working with Alliance again.

I found maple flooring in a high polished gray stain by Model Inc (style name: 1969) that I loved but the original retailer where I came across the sample was quite unprofessional so I went home and researched the flooring online and found the manufacturer which provided me with a dealer list. I called Alliance to find out if they carried the wood and immediately Lehal was very helpful and provided a lot of information on the phone. It was at least a 15 minute call. This attentiveness compelled to go to the store where I also received great customer service. I proceeded with the order for 900 square feet of material, plus 16 feet of stair nosing. Everything was great except for the stair nosing that I received. It turns out that the manufacturer, Model Inc. (PG Flooring) outsources this particular item and has no control over quality control. Lehal and Tina were very patient and went to great lengths to ensure I'd be taken care of and after receiving 4 bad sets of nosing, we finally decided to take the refund instead. Through Alliance, I was then able to get solid raw maple nosing, which will now be stained to match my new stairs, instead of matching the flooring. In the end, I now have a beautiful product that is beautifully installed. Had I gone with the previous retailer, I'm quite certain I would not be a satisfied customer so once again - always go with your gut and don't settle. If you find the service is poor from the moment you walk in - just walk out! As soon as the reno is fully done, I'll be sending Alliance a photo of the end result! Thanks again and I'd definitely come back and have no hesitation in recommending Alliance Floor Source to anyone who is looking for great selection and great service! Why have one without the other when you can have both?!

I had bought some flooring online, thinking it would be easy to install myself. Well, after many, many hours of trying, I decided I needed help. Being new to Toronto, I took a chance with Alliance Flooring based only on the online reviews I read. Once the floor was installed, I can honestly say, the only thing I felt more than delight, was relief. They did exactly what they said they would for the price they said they would. The speed and quality of the installation was fantastic and the customer service was what it should be: professional and all about the customer.

The Alliance team was professional and courteous throughout the process. Their price was competitive, the installers were respectful of our home, hard workers, proud of their work and client-focused. They even offered to move some larger pieces of furniture back to avoid me having to drag them over the carpet. Would definitely use again.
