    Vinyl Plank Flooring + Subfloor Prep

    We chose Alliance because of the excellent reviews on Homestars and were not disappointed. Timea helped us pick a high quality vinyl plank flooring product and was always responsive to our questions and concerns--in person and on the phone. After purchasing the flooring (which we intended to install ourselves), we discovered an issue with the plywood subfloor. It was very uneven. Our general contractor made it much worse by incorrectly applying concrete self-levelling compound and leaving us with a concrete mound in the centre of our living space! We were distraught. I got in touch with Alliance again. Lehel paid us a visit and, after assessing the floor, sent someone to fix the problem. He removed all of the concrete (quickly and with little mess) and sanded the plywood subfloor until it was much closer to being flat. Given that we were unable to get it perfectly flat, and that this would mean a more challenging installation, we decided to hire installers recommended by Lehel. They did a fantastic job. Their cuts were incredibly precise, including around our kitchen island which was installed prior to the floor (see pics). And all of the work (subfloor prep + install) was done at a very reasonable price. We'd highly recommend Alliance, especially because of the fantastic service all around. They are honest, straightforward and very knowledgeable about flooring. They made a stressful situation much easier for us.

    Complete Flooring

    We purchased hardwood flooring, luxury vinyl flooring and broadloom from Alliance for the main floor and upstairs of our home. It was a pleasure to deal with Timea and Lehel. They were always friendly, courteous and helpful and certainly patient. They offered us high quality products at very reasonable prices that fit within our budget. The time frame they provided for the installation was perfect for us to get the house ready. True to their word the installation occurred right on time. This was a big job with the removal of old hardwood, broadloom, vinyl and ceramic tile along with and installation of all new flooring. The quality of the work done by the installers was excellent. The job was done cleanly especially the hardwood. The carpet installer was a knowledgeable and experienced craftsman of his trade. Timea and Lehel made certain that any issues were dealt with promptly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

    Flooring renovation

    We are glad we chose Alliance Floor Source to renovate our floors. We had a very pleasant experience with the company owners. Timea and Lehel were very professional, honest, and personable. Timea was very patient and knowledgeable when it came to picking out products for our floors. We did not feel pressured at all. The project was scheduled for 2 days and was done on time. Their team, Maciej and Mario, were experienced, efficient, and friendly. We will certainly refer our friends and family to the Alliance Floor Source. We wish all our very best to the company.     Basement Floor

    Fantastic company. The project went very smooth. Timea and Lehel were very kind, knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding floor types for my application. The install crew were on time, professional and the job was done very well. Would highly recommend. Thank you! Michael

    Vinyl floor renovation

    We are extremely happy with the service we received from Alliance Floor Source! When we were only two weeks away from our preferred timeline to renovate our previous contractor bailed on us and Alliance Floor Source came to our rescue. They have a wide selection of luxury vinyls and they were able to order the materials and schedule their contractors to meet our deadlines. The staff were professional and helpful. We would happily go back to them in the future and would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

    Flooring

    The store has a great selection of materials. Timea was very helpful, knowledgeable, giving advice and letting me know about promotions. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Excellent customer service, very friendly people.

    Timea was wonderful!!

    Timea was able to pull some strings and managed to provide us with our flooring earlier than expected to accommodate our tight renovation schedule. Thank you so much! Timea was informative, proactive, and went out of her way for us. We appreciate all her help and would recommend this flooring store to anyone!

    Vinyl flooring Fabolous fantastic fun

    Alliance floor source is a top notch, knowledgeable and expert in their field of hardwood flooring. They provided the best in class service, material and price with applicable discounts. Overall a fantastic experience. I'd recomment them to anyone who needs dashing floors.

    Very happy with service and product from Alliance

    Alliance was wonderful to work with when we recently had to replace the damaged flooring in our condo. Everyone we dealt with from start to finish was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They worked with us to find an alternative product when our first choice was no longer available. Installation went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier with the new floor!

    Great service and product

    Alliance did full flooring installation for our co-op reno in 2013. Helpful advice at showroom, lots of choice/ideas to meet budget. Installation was done professionally - arrived on time, delivered as promised, cleaned up afterwards. Then, we had flood damage in 2017. Called Alliance - same experience. Last week, we noticed 2 boards had shifted in our kitchen. Emailed Lehel pics and he showed up between calls to do a quick fix. AWESOME!!! You can't go wrong with Alliance Floor Source.
