    door and window replacement

    My door and windows were replaced with this company. Soon one door and one window started fogging up. I called them but am not getting any response to date. I do not recommend this company to any one.

    windows

    Got my windows and very nice , but they came all marked up not happy ,please start wrapping your windows in plastic to keep them clean and free from marks, to much money to put out and have them all marked up .

    windows installed in 2005

    All my windows were installed in 2005 by Atlantic Window & Door Systems Inc,, 1680 Courtneypark Drive East, Mississauga, ON L5T 1R4. The contract says Lifetime Warranty. All the windows had rusty hardware problem and the company sent people to fix almost all of them in 2009. I just found one windows hardware is still rusted and try to call the company since the end of May. I heard the company has filed a bankruptcy. All there previous phone numbers were greeted with Atlantic Green Home Solutions.

    Custom Windows

    I ordered laser etched custom windows, asking Atlantic to match the etched windows already installed in one room. I did not get what I asked for, their designer instead decided to do it differently. I now have two styles of etching on windows facing the street. I complained a few times, was promised a response and was never looked after. I paid for the windows in good faith on their commitment to rectify the situation. It never happened and I hate looking at my expensive dining room window every time I see it. Mistakes can happen, but make them right. I would NOT recommend this company.

    Warranty not honoured - Company stonewalls further discussion

    I purchased 2 entrance doors, 4 windows and a patio door (two separate orders, the patio door was $1328). The lifetime warranty states "no conditions or exclusions save those recorded below". The seal failed on the patio door in the 6th year. The Company will not honour the warranty and instead refers me to a "fine print" clause saying all products installed by The Company are warranted by the Manufacturer subject to their warranty. They tell me that the Manufacturer has a 5-year warranty on seals. This despite the unequivocal wording of their lifetime warranty. Currently, they still have this fraudulent warranty on their website. They now also have a separate patio door warranty that purportedly guarantees the seal for 10 years. Don't believe either of these claims. I discussed all of the above with Margaret and Ellie. I left a voice mail for the owner (no return call) and sent an email to the Company asking them to put their warranty refusal in writing (no response). Buyer beware .... they talk a good game but fail to deliver.

    Front Door Replacement

    Excellent communication from Pat on day one and through to the final installation team. This was a custom door and the team recreated my vision exactly. Great quality door where other competitors will cut corners to make the price more attractive. You get what you pay for.

    $200 Customer Loyalty Referral Program

    We have used Atlantic in two houses now to replace our windows...the windows themselves are great quality. Our neighbour liked them as well and used Atlantic. They filled out the form that we referred them to Atlantic so we would qualify for this program. Their windows etc also look nice, the job included new entry doors as well, it must have been a $20,000+ job (using what we paid as a baseline). That was a year and a half and 5 or more conversations with their office manager Ellie saying that the cheque would be processed and sent out right away. I won't be referring Atlantic to anyone who asks. Loyalty program my eye ! Sent 20K+ in business their way and they can't even make good on a crummy $200 that they advertise as a program they support.

    Window Replacement

    Atlantic did a great job of replacing most of our window last summer. They came on time and was careful to minimize mess as much as possible. Just had a minor issue with Arthur though, I just didn't like the way he responds to our inquiry especially when we were trying to negotiate the price. But aside from that the windows were great.

    patio door, basement

    Over the past two years Atlantic replaced all our windows, so we had them do our basement patio door. The door arrived today, excellent door, looks great. Trouble is we ordered it over 2 months ago! Customer service is very poor, which is sad for a great product.

    2 new windows in living and bedroom, new front and screen doors

    Old drafty house. 2 men put in the windows and doors on the hottest day of the year. They were friendly and courteous and dealt with unexpected complications smoothly with impressive results. Everyone who has seen their work has been impressed. They practically had to rebuild the front doorway but you would never know it.
