    21 windows , patio door & front double door with 2 side lites

    Very satisfied with windows & patio door installation that was done in 2005. In Dec/2006, Atlantic install a fibre glass doudle door entry system , at time of install everything was done very professionally,ant to my approval. Door looked great and received compliments from neghbours and passers by. In Oct/2010, after a rain storm noticed water had entered through the botton betwwen the door and frame. Called Atlantic for service, they sent out a technician, made some adjustments to the door , caulked the door. He took a lot of photos of the door and the site. In April/2011, I again noticed water leaking through the door dring a rain storm. It as coming in so bad, install a barrier on the outside of the doors to prevent water from coming in. I notified Atlantic of the situation , but this time they did not send anyone out to repair the door. Instead, they supposedly sent out a service tech and Construction Engineer to evaluation the site not the door. They came to the conclusion that it was the site that was causing the water to enter the house. Apparantly the house and door doesn't have any natural barriers to protect the entry door. They are suggesting a roof , an awning or an aluminum storm door be installed to protect the door, at my expense. The have washed their hands of the situation, inspite of the warranty being 10 years. As I told them , there was a storm door , prior to the new door being installed. I wanted the strom dorr to be istalled over the new Atlantic door , but was told by the salesman that it was not required to to the high standards the Atlantic doors are designed, engineered and manufactured to , besides he siad it would detract from the beauty of the new Atlantic doors. I sent them additional correspondance stating I would be willing to share in the cost of the new storm door , but they seem to be ignoring my attempts to find a compromise. In conclusion, they have a good product and installatin of windows , but the door warranty and customer servise are not very customer oreinted. I will be pursuing this with the BBB.

    Replacement of bay window, 2 entrance doors, 3 basement windows

    I had windows installed by Atlantic before and they work great. So I decided last year to go with Atlantic to have some more work done, in addition to windows this time I ordered 2 entrance doors as well. The installation was very good again. The windows work fine after a year. The problem is my main entrance door. The sweep below the door fell apart 3 weeks after installation. The service guy replaced it no problem but he said the door might have to be adjusted if this happens again. So now a bit over a year later the sweep is broken again. It is out of warranty and Atlantic is saying the inner sweep that breaks off is not really needed and I should cut it off. They also now say that they don't manufacture this sweep and can't really do anything about the design and quality. So I would have to buy a new, no mention about maybe fixing the door so the sweep doesn't break every year. I am not impressed with their doors I wouldn't recommend to buy doors from them, The windows are great but the door I wouldn't buy from them again. To tell me they can't really do anything about the sweep design since they buy it from somebody else is not re-assuring. If the stuff doesn't have the right quality or design don't sell it to me. Claus The service guy was here last week and replaced the door sweep. He was very professional and it took less then half an hour to do the work. I'll see how long this sweep lasts. Thanks for taking care of this problem. I'll update the ratings accordingly. For the windows I give you a 5 for both categories but the doors get a 3 for now. Claus

    Dear Claus, Our service department should be in touch with you to make arrangements to come out and replace your sweep in addition to verifying the door unit to see if any adjustments should be made. Please note that our current sweep system has 4 seals on the bottom. The large gasket closest to the warm side of the doorslab is the most vital one. The others are there as extra precautions. As long as the final seal is intact, the unit will perform as expected. We are currently in the process dealing with our supplier on a superior sweep system. If we find this sweep to be superior and bring it on board, we will ensure you receive it too.

    Custom Solution for Wooden Box containing Window

    Both the Sales and Installation Teams were fabulous. Daniel (Sales Rep) delievered exactly what he promised. The Installation Team were a pleasure to deal with and followed through on exactly what was promised. In addition, the cleanliness of my house when they were finished was as if they had never been there! Highly, highly recommend this company for their professionalism and smiles. Thanks Guys!

    12 New Windows on House

    We checked out several companies when looking to replace our old windows with energy efficient new ones, and though they weren't the least expensive, Atlantic was the most professional and knowledgeable. We went by their showroom and got a behind-the-scenes tour at their impressive workshop. Highly recommend checking it out. Installation day went great. The workers were wonderful, did excellent work and cleaned everything up. I'll definitely be considering using them again for a smaller project I have coming up this year.

    Windows

    We had Atlantic replace all of our windows. Their attention to detail was beyond expectations from installation all the way to showing respect for the customer by keeping their work area clean and neat. Their workmanship shows quality and we have recommended them to a number of our friends, family and neighbours. They have also had work done by Atlantic as well and have been totally satisfied.

    Door glass replacement

    We contacted Atlantic at the recommendation of a friend. We were glad to have listened to their advice. The home consultation was very helpful and we were able to choose the door glass that best suited our desired effect. The installation went off without a hitch, and we were very happy overall.

    Replace windows

    We replaced all our windows and patio door with Atlantic and we were very pleased with the work which they did.The installers were very good at teir job. Their follow up service was also excellent.

    Window replacement

    We had all of the windows of our home recently replaced by Atlantic. We were very pleased with the outcome especially since the work was done during the winter! The team that did the work were exceptional leaving behind no mess and were professional throughout the duration of the project. We would without hesitation recommend Atlantic to others in the market to have their windows/doors replaced. Keep up the great work !

    windows and front door

    Quality of product is outstanding. Windows and door were exactly as ordered in storeroom. Kept up to date by salesman throughout. Installers were professional from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend!

    Two Bay Windows

    Because of our tight budget, we decided to replace our windows in stages: first the single double-hung, then the sliding patio door, and the bay windows would be next. Our first experience was not with Atlantic, unfortunately, and we were not impressed. The installers told us that they do not include the inside trim, so we had to hire others to complete the job! The sliding door experience wasn't gratifying either as the magnetic slide to raise the blinds within keeps coming off and the manufacturer will do nothing about it. Finally, I learned of Atlantic, and none too soon. When the crew came in on a cool spring morning last year, they started by protecting our garden of shrubs and perennial underneath the windows. I was impressed! When I offered them coffee, I found out later they didn't take the time to drink it because they were so intent on completing the job. When they did finish, my yard was immaculate and the windows were gorgeous. The constant noise from the busy trucking street was gone. I only wish I had heard of Atlantic sooner. We could have saved a bundle of money and been much happier with the results. Now we look forward to installing a new front door (the multi-lock feature is very impressive), but only with Atlantic. In the end, it wasn't such a bad experience. We got to compare. Saving a few extra dollars wasn't worth it in the end when you are dissatisfied with the workmanship. We learned the hard way that Atlantic is so much better.
