    FURNACE WARRANTY WORK

    I purchased my Trane furnace from AtlasCare 6 years ago and have been under a service contract with them since that time. I also purchased the 10 year extended warranty and was told that in order for that to be in effect I had to also purchase a service contract. Although that didn't make sense to me, I took them at their word. Recently the furnace stopped working so I called AtlasCare. They came out and diagnosed the problem ... a failed circuit board. The diagnosis was at no charge because I had a service contract. The parts would be at no charge because Trane would cover that, but I would be responsible for the labour. The labour charge for 1/2 hour to install the new board was $306.00 + tax. I called Trane to check into the extended warranty and contrary to what I had been told I did not have to purchase a service contract for the warranty to be in effect. I also learned that under the warranty both parts and labour were fully covered by Trane. Fortunately I had paid for the charges by cheque and was able to stop payment. I feel that by telling me I had to purchase a service contract (been playing for that for the last 6 years) and that I was responsible for the labour on the repair, that it demonstrates a complete lack of integrity and honesty.

    Duct cleaning

    They were on time and professional. They showed me the picture before and after. When they were done everything was cleaned up. They left the place like they found it. Good job Alex and Anthony.

    service

    I would give AtlasCare a 10,I called them on a Tuesday morning. I thought we needed our Ducts cleaned. There was a burnt smell coming from the heat registers. They told me it could be some thing else. So they set a service tech, turned out that the furnace motor was burnt out. They let me know the part was under warrenty, It was repaired the next day. I also decided to go ahead and have the Ducts clean anyway. The guys from AtlasCare did a great job. Explained everything very well and Professionally too!

    Furnace repair

    My furnace stopped working late evening. I reviewed the possible problem with Quinton over the phone and he decided he needed to make a house call. Quinton was very professional and easy to talk to. A wonderful young man. Thank you.

    Furnace Service

    We had a great experience with AtlasCare! Our furnace was working, but needed a new part. Our furnace stopped working the weekend before our appointment. The technician found our part and came on the weekend to complete our repair. He was very professional and polite. I would recommend AtlasCare to everyone.

    HVAC Installation

    Our York furnace came with our home when we moved in over 22 years. We had several problems with our York furnace after New Year’s. We called AtlasCare for both problems. The first issue turned out to be a burned out igniter. Not more than 10 days later, we heard a grinding noise off and on Saturday night and we woke up on the next morning to a furnace making noises but no heat. We called AtlasCare emergency service and another excellent technician (Aaron) came over on the same day and diagnosed the problem to be the furnace air blower. He recommended that we look at a new furnace and gave a rough idea of replacement cost of furnace air blower and new furnace units. He waived the diagnosis fee since another technician was over on the first issue. We met with Ron Robinson, sales representative, later the same day and he explained our different options. Ron filed the paperwork the same day to make sure that we get emergency installation the next day since it was a no heat emergency. His follow-up helped and they came over in the morning and installed a new York furnace and air conditioning unit by mid-afternoon. It was on one of the coldest days of the winter. The installation team (Gary, Lindsay and Tedros) were professional and courteous. They gave us the red carpet treatment. They explained what was done and we are happy with the service.

    Furnace and Air Conditioner

    We got back from a January vacation on a Friday night to a very cold house. After an unsatisfactory call to another company, I called AtlasCare. They sent Dag Rummeda that night and he arrived exactly when promised. Dag gave a no-nonsense assessment and was very personable. Since our furnace was 21 years old we opted to replace it. Ron Robinson arrived the next morning, exactly when promised, to measure and assess our home and give us a quote. We decided to go ahead with AtlasCare, and they arrived first thing Monday morning, exactly when promised. McCloud, Dave D, and Venecio did a great job, the workmanship was top notch, and they were respectful of our house. McCloud explained the operation of the system to us and was a really nice guy! The furnace works great; haven't tried the air conditioner yet since it's still below zero outside. Everyone impressed us from start to finish.

    Duct cleaning

    Travis and Anthony provided excellent service. I'm in Toronto and was held up in traffic and they waited patiently . They were courteous, professional and treated my home with the utmost respect. Thank you!

    Furnace was not providing hot air - only cold air.

    The technician Quinton Gardner was very professional and explained all steps and procedures in a very clear and concise manner. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair it with no guess work. I have seen several technicians over the years and many worked by trial and error - Quinton was on top of all the issues and possibilities and quickly was able to diagnose and repair the issue on hand. I am so pleased with his work and professionalism that I have to admit it was a great pleasure to have met him. Thank You Quinton for showing up as quickly as you did and resolving my issue in a very time and cost effective manner.

    Heating and Cooling

    I have really been impressed by the constant superb service and support provided by Atlas Care. Nimo has now been promoted and I still rate his capability as outstanding. Thanks Nimo. Today Quinton came out to fix a failing furnace problem which of course he did even though it was one of those terrible intermittent problems. Thanks again Quinton for your great technical capability and helpfulness. On a scale of 1 to 5. I have to rate Quinton a 6 overall. I ask myself how does Atlas Care get and keep these really great people. Then Mike Grochmal arrives who is just keeping abreast of how things are really going in the field. He is the president. He is great too, Now I really really wish I could work for and with Atlas Care too but at age 79 its not going to happen. I will however remain a very satisfied and happy customer. I am also as a Canadian very proud that this great, growing, well managed company is a Canadian Company. Thanks Nimo, Thanks Quinton, Thanks Mike. Great company Terrific service Keep it up!
