    Repair Furnace

    just wanted to thank you service department for responding so fast to my call about the furnace not working Joe Ferreira arrived extremely quickly , diagnose the problem (blockage in drain trap) and fixed it. All done in an extremely professional manner.

    Furnace Replacement

    We are extremely impressed with Atlas Aircare, Oakville location, in particular with Mr. Dick Thomas. We moved to the GTA area in 2007 and located Atals Aircare to buy and install a high efficiency furnace in our older but newly purchased home. The initial sales team, to the installers were respectful and receptive to our needs. Over the years the furnace was serviced on their maintenance plan. However within the last year there appeared to be serious systemic technical issues which caused the blower motor to burn out and was replaced three times within 11 months, always when the weather was unseasonably frigid. The last occasion was -24, with the wind chill made it -39. Atlas to the rescue, with a service call and immediate follow up by service technicians. The furnace motor was again the culprit and required replacement. The replacement took place the following day and heat was plentiful. Mr.Dick Thomas of Atlas Aircare called our home the following day of the motor replacement and based on his expert analysis recommended that the situation required a full furnace replacement immediately starting with a new 10 year parts and labour warranty. As a home owner, this was reassuring and comforting to know that Atlas Aircare stands behind its customers and the product they sell. Mr. Thomas arranged and delivered a brand new furnace at no cost the very next day. There were minor installation costs but under the circumstances a non issue. My wife and I would highly recommend Atlas Aircare to everyone and we will count on them for years to come. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Thomas for his no nonsense approach and getting the job done. Great job by the service technicians that performed the furnace transplant, they were neat and tidy and took pride in their work, great job guys! Thank you. Ken & Lynn

    Furnace Maintenance

    Eric, our tech guy today, was very informative and respectful. He lets you know of any issue beforehand. He goes above and beyond of what's required. He's one of the best tech guys Atlascare has.

    FURNACE/HUMIDIFIER SERVICE

    Eric, our tech. today was professional, informative and made a suggestion that was not related to our tune-up visit in regards to our gas pipe outside. We will be rust proofing it in the Spring. Thanks Eric, you probably will save us $$$ down the road. Fifteen years of great service from Atlas and their amazing crew. One of your very happy customers.

    Duct Cleaning

    On the most crazy-cold day in decades we were scheduled to have the ducts cleaned in our home following completion of a large and messy bathroom renovation. Dave & Alex were our attendant techs. We appreciated their promptness, courtesy, and professionalism. It was a pleasure having them working in our home, and a big shout-out is definitely warranted for their service excellence - thank you! We will call AtlasCare again in the future and highly recommend this company for Duct Cleaning.

    Double Furnace Replacement & Duct Cleaning

    Right out of the gate the communication is excellent, from the quotation appt booking to the quotation visit to the day of installation. Having a company come into your house with positive polite & well spoken employees who take the time to explain what they'll be doing in great detail is very much appreciated. It isn't difficult to see why they've been in business for 8 decades. And the relationship doesn't end when they leave the house btw. They send you a well prepared package to ensure you will easily receive government reimbursements due to you as well as outlining your annual maintenance schedule on your new equipment. Go get your 3-5 quotes but strongly consider AtlasCare if you want A+ service & a competitive price (they aren't the least expensive but they aren't the most either).

    Furnace Cleaning

    After the ice storm, my furnace stopped working. I called Atlas to have someone come look at my furnace- they arranged for a 'diagnostic'- the person showed up, was friendly and polite. They told me that the furnace needed cleaning- it was very dirty, and that while there were no guarantees it would burn clean enough after being cleaned, they could clean it to find out (the alternative was me replacing my furnace). So, I set up a date to get it cleaned. The diagnostic was just under $200. The next person showed up 2 days later, opened the furnace, took one look at it and said it was beyond cleaning and couldn't be saved. He then spent 30 minutes creating an invoice and billed me for an hour and half ($220). When I expressed my displeasure that the diagnostic guy had said it could be cleaned, and that I was now paying twice for nothing to be done- I was told to take it up with head office. When I called head office to complain, I was sent to a voicemail. I left a voicemail and no one called me back. After 3 days, I called back again, left a message with a rep who assured me someone would call me back shortly. It's now 3 days later, and no one has called me back. I find it hard to believe that this company won awards in 2011 and 2012, given the experience I have been through. You'd think that customer service would be something they'd be good at. Maybe it's because I chose to not have them replace my furnace that they feel comfortable treating me like this. ************************************ Update- after writing this review and getting a hold of Mike- he was able to listen to my story, provide an explanation, and offer a refund. Recognizing that the ice storm has made things very busy for them, I am updating my rating and much more satisfied with their efforts.

    furnace repair (cost covered under service contract)

    We have used AlasCare for more than a decade and have found their service to be of the highest quality – prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. During this time, we’ve had two furnace “emergencies” and in both cases the problem was solved promptly including replacement of a motor the day before Christmas. Eric recently diagnosed and repaired the cause of our furnace malfunction expeditiously and with great courtesy during the busy hoiday season. All staff have been on time for their appointments and have respected our white carpet! Thanks.

    furnace

    I called AtlasCare because I noticed my furnace was blowing cold air in the evening (around 8PM). The AtlasCare tech. guy Eric came in 2 hours after I called and resolved the issue. I am glad to have AtlasCare come over and fix my furnace right away in the cold winter night.
