    Boiler/Radiant System Draining

    During the recent power outages in Toronto, I had an urgent need to have my 1948-era radiant heating system drained to avoid freezing and bursting. Although not part of my service plan coverage, the task was done promptly and at a very reasonable cost. When power was restored, they returned promptly again, and had heat flowing in about a half hour. And all this while dealing with the most eccentric system they're likely to encounter...

    diagnose cause of noise coming from furnace

    Our furnace, York, affinity series was making a rumbling noise. I called the firm that usually does the annual inspection and they advised that it might be the gas control valve, but they would consult with the York technician . They returned the following day and after conducting some tests advised that the noise might be coming from the ventor motor. They returned the following day and installed a new ventor motor but the noise persisted. They then advised that it may be caused by a defective secondary heat exchanger but would contact the York technician again and report back. After two days with no response I phoned Atlas Care and requested that they send a technician. Technician Joe Ferreira arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of our furnace. Joe found that all the systems of the furnace were functioning according to specifications but that the noise persisted. Joe then contacted a co-worker technician and they discussed the problem at great length and came to the conclusion that there may be a leaking gasket at the heat exchanger collection box. . Joe then tightened all the collector box screws and the noise went away. Joe was a very knowledgeable and efficient Technician and resolved the problem on one visit

    Duct Cleaning

    Dave and Alex came out to do duct cleaning. On time, friendly, polite, energetic and informative. Plus a job well done. The amount of dust in the house has dramatically declined. Highly recommended. Thank you!

    service call, new furnace installation

    I woke up December 9 to an inside temperature of 14. yikes! I got the heat to come back on (who knew speaking nicely to a furnace could have such positive results!) but by the Friday the 13, I knew something wasn't right. Leo the service tech was happy and knowledgable and put my mind at ease that my house wasn't going to launch into orbit. I decided to buy new instead of fix the old one. Within a few hours, Daniel the salesman was at my home, measuring and explaining the purchasing process. He too put my mind at ease that I would have constant heat. I can't say enough positive things about Leo, Daniel and the installation team of Chris and Dave. All of them without exception were polite, friendly and extremely knowledgable and loved working for their company..happy employees speak volumes to me as a customer and I know I made the right decision choosing this company. A week later I received a package in the mail from them with all the paper work required for the OPA rebate. All I have to do is sign on the line they highlighted for me and send it in :) Thanks to everyone and have a great holiday!

    furnace problem

    Friday night in December the furnace stopped. We've used Atlas for many years..this was our first emergency call. Within 2 hours of calling them on Saturday morning we had Steve, the tech, here. He told us that we needed a new gas valve and didn't know if there was one in stock. However, in spite of it being the weekend, he found the part and had it installed for us and the furnace running by noon. Pleasant, knowledgable and considerate (he kept me informed when he had to leave to find the part and told me exactly when he would be arriving.)This is great service.

    Furnace Repair

    I had Nimo Mansouri visit my home when our furnace stopped working. He was very punctual, pleasant and professional. He had our furnace repaired and running again in under a half hour. Great service.

    Duct Cleaning

    After our kitchen Reno we needed our ducts cleaned. Atlas Care was able to schedule an appointment within a few days and showed up on time. Alex and his partner were very thorough and professional. They protected our floors and were very clean. I would hire them again in a heart beat!

    HTS heat/cool package

    Eric C. and Nick K. of AtlasCare installed a new heat/cool unit on Dec 19 in my condo unit. The work was done very professionally and with great pride. A job well done. A very "WARM" Merry Christmas" Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    new furnace/AC

    AtlasCare was contacted for a quote when considering a new furnace/AC because of a recommendation by a friend . They responded promptly and professionally and Daniel returned a second time, to discuss some technical issues to ensure all matters were clear before moving ahead with installation. This was appreciated, as it made me more confident that the right contractor was being chosen.

    Furnace protection

    I had Nimo Mansouri from atlascare to my home to take a look at my furnace. He was professional and polite. He provided a great job and I would highly recommend him. His down to earth attitude and willingness to answer all my random questions made the experience positive rather then the normal negative when something is wrong with your furnace. Thanks again Nimo!
