Just had Better Contracting Services do our roof after wind damage last year, and we had the most positive experience. We went with Landmark shingles and Better Contracting Services is one of a few companies that are certified by Certainteed to install Landmark and pass on their extended 4 star warranty. Got four quotes from roofers certified by Certainteed, and their price was the best. They also offered a discount to do the job in early spring (although we ended up doing it in early May for reasons not related to the company), and also agreed to upgrade liner to Diamond Deck, and to add 3 extra vents for exhaust fans, all at no extra cost. The installation was fast, professional and looked like quality, detailed work to me. Most importantly, the people in the company are what makes such a difference. Mike the owner, took time to speak to me multiple times and personally returned calls, which shows a level of care and commitment that is very hard to match, especially in a company of this size. Murray did the initial quote, addressed all our questions, and made no less than 3 additional trips to deliver shingle samples, including some hard to get varieties. Sarah who takes care of paperwork, has been great. Last but not least, Robert and his installation crew did a very nice and thorough job, the roof looks great, and should be good for many years. Overall, great experience with Better Contracting Services, they truly stand behind their name!

Better Contracting Services Ecxelent Work, More than satisfied for the repair of my roof, Recommended

I had my roof shingles done by Better Contracting over 10 years ago. We get a lot of wind off the lake. One day we noticed a sheet of shingles on the floor. I called Mike, the owner, and he assured me that they would repair the shingles despite how long ago this was done. True to their word, I came home one day and saw the repair was already done and I wasnt needed at all! I was pleased to see that my instructions were followed. Thank you Mike.

Leak developed in Feb. and March after 2 winter storms with over 20 mm of rain combined with over 20 cm of snow. Quick rising temperatures after the events caused quick melting. Called Better Contracting after the March event as they had installed the roof in 2015. Crew arrived the next day and checked the whole roof and found a gap near the top of the chimney which they caulked. They found some other small holes in the sloped roof, which they had not installed, and also caulked those. There was no charge as the roof was still under warranty. Fast and professional response. Would highly recommend this company for any roof work.
