C-star stands behind their work and their warrantee. Speaking with them on a Sunday night to inquire about roof shingle repairs, they showed up the very next day and got the job done efficiently.

I was very impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by Kenny. He took the time to explain the entire roof replacement project step by step, brought me a sample of the shingles to be used, and kept me informed throughout the process. In addition, C Star roofing provided me with photographs and documentation in a clear and concise manner. The work site was cleaned up and there were no traces of debris. I would highly recommend C Star for all roofing needs.

Called Xing for quote to re-roof my place(2200 sq ft). He came promptly and explained what he will do and gave the most reasonable quote. I went ahead with him. His company is insured and provides the same warranty as others. He came the day of the installation with his crew in the morning and finished within half a day. He let me inspect the roof after they removed the old shingles. Replace a plywood that was damaged. Cleaned up after they were done. I put felt paper through out the roof and ice shields near the edges with metal in the valleys. Replaced the vents with aluminum ones All in all good experience, will see how it goes this winter

One day I found my neighbor had someone changed their roof and I found they did excellent job. Than I got to know Mr. Yang. I immediately decided to give my business to Mr. Yang. He is patient to answer my questions and give me suggestions when I feel hard to make decision. He is honest and friendly. I think he is professional, take responsibility and with very good price. Thank you Mr. Yang.

I selected C-star to have a new roof for my house for the following: 1. Great mark given by BBB; 2. Good reviews on Homestars; 3. Mr. Yang is very frank and honest; 4. 5 nails per shingle technique used by the company. Before signing contract with Mr Yang, I had many small discussion with him regarding what kind of shingle I should use, whether we need felt paper etc, Mr Yang was very frank and honest about what was must-have and what was nice to have. It's very helpful for me to make final decisions on those things. He told me that his staff put 5 nails on one shingle compared to 3 or 4 nails by other roofers. On the day we signed the contract, Mr Yang gave me two estimates: 1, to start my work within two weeks and 2, to finish my work within a day. He exactly followed the two estimates to complete my work. He and 6 or 7 of his staff came around 9:00 AM in the morning and finished the work before 5 PM. This includes thorough cleaning after roof work. In addition, the work is done exactly according to the contract price. I'm very happy with my new roof. and would recommend Mr Yang to all my friends.

I just get this company from a friend of mine referral. Here is what my friend said, "When I saw them working on my roof. 1) They knew what they were doing (I know how the roof had to be put on so I realized that all the workers knew what they were doing.) 2) Didn't care / mind that I was frequently looking at their progress. 3) Reliable and honest. 4) Very fast" Those positive comments make me feel confident to have business with C-Star company. Their standard contract contains the following contents which I am very satisfied: 1. Remove old shingles. 2. Replace any damaged plywood if necessary, $50/piece. (will inform owners for permission before replace plywood and take pictures if it is necessary) 3.Install felt paper for the whole roof and install ice-and-water protection shield 3 feet around the perimeter of the roof. 4. Install 29-gauge metal flashing in valleys (lifetime warranty). Install Ice-and-Water protection shield underneath the metal flashing. 5. Install ice-and-water protection shield in critical areas where required. (usually for skylight, chimney, etc.) 6. replace rubber flanges on exhaust pipes. 7. Install shingles professionally. 8. Install enough vents to comply wit Ontario Building Code. 9. Refasten and re-caulk flashing. 10. Clean the eavestroughs and remove nails in your lawn with a magnetic broom. 11. Dispose old shingles and materials. 12. Ten-year labour warranty in writing. They did a nice job in both quality and pricing. Since the price is very reasonable, I and my wife decided to buy them (total 5 workers) lunch in order to save their time. I would like to recommend their professional services. David

We recently had our roof replaced and we were very pleased with the whole experience. Our roof had some shingles come off and so we were anxious to have the re-roofing done as quickly as possible. Kenny from C-Star assured us he would call on us first if any of the jobs in front of us needed to be postponed. Sure enough, two days later Kenny called to say the crew would be out the next day. A large crew showed up the next day, including Xing who supervised the work. The men worked fast and cleaned up afterwards. The whole job only took them seven hours. The end result was that when we had a downpour four hours after they left and I checked the attic and everything was fine. I would highly recommend Xing and the crew at C-Star.

I called Cstar to have estimate, Mr Yang came to our house at the same day and gave us very reasonable quotation. We are quite happy with the work they had done. Highly recommend.

I contacted C-Star to replace our roof and Xing was at our house at 8:00 pm the same night. Xing explained in details about the work and the quote was competitive. Very hard working fellows and they replaced our roof in one day (our detached house is about 2200 sq ft. and the roof is steep too). C-Star crew was very professional, details-oriented, experienced and organized. The job was done in a professional manner from the start to the end. I'm very pleased with the workmanship on the roof overall. I appreciated Xing's suggestion for the shingle color and the new roof looks very attractive. Great job and well done!! I highly recommend them for everyone who needs a roofer.

this is my second time dealing with Sing, and It was referred by my friend at first. He responded promptly to my requests no matter whole roof replacement or just small repair, and his quotation is very reasonable. He is professional, responsible guy, he uses high quality products. after the work done, he also look around to double check if anything else need to fix, I really appreciate his service!
