When it came to time for a new roof, picking the right roofer to do the job was not my cup of tea . After asking friends for referrals, getting quotes from four different companies, we decided to pick C- Star Roofing. Not only was their pricing reasonable, but one thing that stood out from other companies was the contract, which clearly stated all the things they said they would do in writing and even included pictures. Though Sing, the owner of the company, was a man of few words but he made sure we understood that he was serious about doing what he promised. We are so happy with our new roof and can tell that his team really put an effort to do an excellent job. They exceeded our ex[expectations and took care of all the details for our new roof and eaves troughs . C-Star and Mr Yang's service and ability to complete the job within 1 week's notice helped us list and sell our house on a very tight schedule. He and his team delivered as promised. They were on time, courteous and very respectful of our property and that of our neighbours. I am very impressed with the quality of work which included a full roof shingle replacement and especially the site clean-up afterwards. Highly recommend C-Star Roofing.

CStar replaced our roof in 2007. They did a great job. It was started and completed when promised, and they cleaned up our yard very well before leaving. I recently called Sing at CStar(this is 8 years later) and told him I noticed something might be wrong on the roof around the metal fireplace chimney. He came that evening,found that the problem wasn't a roofing problem, but a problem with the metal base of the chimney, but he fixed it anyway, at no charge. While he was on the roof he did a full inspection and did some cosmetic fix ups where needed. Great service , and a company that stands by their warranty.

C-Star did an excellent job installing a new roof in my home. The crew arrived on time and they installed the new shingles in a very professional manner. C-Star was fantastic to work with. We have a metal roof top (pretty new) and we found that we have several leaking on the eavestrough in the spring (original narrow gutters). We called serveral contractors to get a quote for gutter replacement. C-Star turned out to be the most professional one. They suggested to install an extra down spout to avoid the overflow on the front eaves. The screws to mount the gutter to the roof top are 1 foot apart. It has higher weight withstanding compared to what some other contractors provide. Our roof has quite a number of 45 degree corners. The finish of the corners done by C-Star was excellent. The way C-Star mounted the down spout to the wall is much more secured than what we have before. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Sing was a pleasure to work with. HIs company was recommended to us by the people that did our landscaping. He was able to work around the flower beds and even covered the interlock in the drive way. The job was completed and cleaned up all in 1 day.

Bad storm about a month ago led to a leak in my roof. There was a roofing company doing work down the street so I approached them about the issue with my roof. Sing came by and thoroughly looked at it and quoted a price the contractor doing work at my house thought was reasonable. The next day a few of his crew showed up to do the job and worked the entire day to patch up. Sing followed up after some rain to assure no leaks and it's been about 5 pretty heavy storms in the past month and no issues! Thanks Sing!

2 years ago I found some shingles on my lawn, knew my roof was due for a replacement, so I searched for a new roofing company and came across C-Star and based on reviews I decided to give them a call. They showed up in the evening, inspected my roof, told me that it was still in reasonable shape with a few loose pieces and said it should be good for at least another year. They repaired the loose areas free of charge too! Last year, my rental unit needed a new roof and I didn't hesitate to call Sing again. It was late in the year, but he still managed to get the roof replaced (I think I was the last job of the year). 6 months later, due to strong winds, my own roof was in bad shape. Sing called me ahead of time to set up a day, showed up on time with a team of 6 workers and completed the job on the same day. My neighbour also had his roof done the following day. Compared to my other neighbour that had their roof replaced last year, C-Star's work looks like everything lined up straight. They were mindful of my home, coordinated when working, and cleaned up afterward. From my limited experience with this kind of work, I found the pricing to be very reasonable for the quality of the job done.

Great job done with no complaints or any hassles. The guys came on time, got the job done quickly and left our property as clean as it was before. The price was very reasonable which topped it all off and even our neighbours were very impressed.

Mr Yang patiently advised me on all details of the roofing project when he did the estimate. A very reasonable price was quoted. The work was professionally completed in about 8 hours and the crew team properly cleaned up the entire site. During the past six months, the roof fared very well in rain storms and snow storms.
