Looking for a firm to trim back a couple of decades of grown in the front and back yard. Many firms would not even return my call or visit my home for an estimate. Two firms finally responded, CB Tree won the business, as he appeared very down-to-earth and honest. His estimate was significantly lower than the other firm's. As for the work, they did a great job of cutting, trimming and hauling away. Great value for the money. Great service. Nice people.

Craig and John are hero's, and were a pleasure for my family and I to deal with during a sincerely upsetting time in our lives. Our cat was missing for a week, and completely unaware to us, stuck in a neighbors tree for about four days. We were actually received the, its only a cat, line from our local fire department - and for that matter the local animal services, as well - and we found CB Trees and Craig's contact online. He completely understood our situation, was a comfort in our dealings together during this upsetting time, and was able to drive down right away to help us. I would, and have, recommend their services to anybody who finds themselves in the distressing situation of having a beloved cat stuck in a tree. They were the only ones to come through for us, and I thank them everyday for how they helped us.

CB Tree Service did a great job taking going above and beyond, clearing all of the dead wood on a tree in my backyard that was required by the City. Their rates were reasonable and they were always very friendly and efficient and did exactly what they promised to do. I would highly recommend going with CB Tree Service for any tree trimming or arborist work that is required. I'll definitely be going with them again to do future work. Thanks for the great work! J

Fist time we retained Craig's services, it was through his website reviews in 2013. After our first project in north york. we have been working with him on two more projects since and each time we managed to stay on time and on budget. We strongly recommend him for any arborist issues from reporting to removals. To this date we have not worked with anyone as efficient and professional as him in this category.

We have a huge Manitoba Maple in back whose lower branches are 2’ wide and travel 25’ horizontally before turning upwards 30' (and every which way). Last week the limb shown in the picture peeled itself off the tree by about 1” which was enough to lower it 3’ down onto our shed. The shed held it at first, but given that the limb and the branches that grew out of it weighed *thousands* of pounds, it was only a matter of time before gravity won and our shed would be splinters. (See 1st photo.) We had worked with Craig before and called him immediately. He was in the middle of a job but came over in the afternoon with steel support posts to stabilize the limb and make sure it didn’t descend any further. (See 2nd photo.) While waiting I trimmed off as many other branches as I could reach from the ground with a pole-saw, but there is only so much trimming it is sensible for an untrained person like myself to take on. In addition to the enormous weight of the branch and the fact it was in the process of detaching from the trunk (but needing to be scaled to remove the higher branches), removal was further complicated by a young tree and 3 bushes below it that would need to be avoided as the branches came down. Craig and his crew showed up the very next day to plan the removal, setup their safety rigging, and carefully turn the limb into (very very big) logs. Our tree and bushes got pushed around a bit during removal but all were fine at the end of the day. And our shed survived without so much as a cracked shingle! Craig has a wealth of experience with tackling challenging jobs like ours (though I’m sure he’d be happy to take on your simple jobs too)! He charges very fair prices to get the job done right.

After two and a half weeks of getting the run around from a variety of tree care companies I finally called CB and for the first time got a quick and honest response. Craig even called to tell me that he would be a half hour late for the assessment... who does that anymore? The crew showed up the next week as promised and did an excellent job, above and beyond even. By then another price came in but CB beat them by one half. I simply tip my hat to CB Tree Service.

A large limb on our tall locust tree broke and was hanging threateningly over our neighbour's car. We called several tree removal companies to get an urgent quote. Craig responded the same day and worked a quick visiting into his Saturday schedule. He was not able to do the work the same day but promised to come back the next morning (Father's Day) to do the work. He charged us his standard rate even though it was an emergency. He performed the work professionally and cleaned up everything perfectly. We're very happy with the results. Thanks Craig and happy Father's Day.

Craig from CB Tree Service did a fantastic job at our property. Over the past two years we have only used CB and have had 2 large trees removed and another large tree pruned and cabled after the ice storm. His cabling work was exceptionally well done in that we are confident in is long term performance and it is not visually intrusive. The work area was always left clean such that you would never know they were there. I would definately recommend CB to a friend or relative.
