    Tree Removal

    Craig responded immediately on a long weekend even though he was busy due to a wind storm. He did a great job at far less than others had quoted and was great to deal with. I would recommend his service strongly.

    Pruning and Care of Overgrown Trees

    I highly recommend Craig and CB Tree Experts! As with the other reviews I can easily say that he is professional, kind to the neighbours, and an excellent clean-up. More importantly to me, Craig called me weekly until we were able to schedule a time, followed up with a phone-call as I was not home at the time (my daughter was), came by the house to review the work done and passed on tree care knowledge. I have a Maple in the back yard that is starting to split in two. Craig explained what I could easily do on my own to care for the tree and extend the life of the tree. He does all of this with warmth and a smile. A pleasure to deal with someone so knowledgeable and considerate. I will definitely be calling CB Tree and Craig for follow-up pruning.

    Delimbing, pruning, removing large dead oak branches

    CB tree and Craig Telenko were professional, knowledgeable, did the job on time, within budget and the work was excellent. They really know what they are doing. The team works hard and does a very professional job. The clean up was amazing. Our backyard was totally restored to normal after the job. I would recommend CB to everybody. This is the second time I have relied on them. The first job was huge- removing a fallen Manitoba maple which spanned 3 yards in the beach! This job was a little smaller but still daunting- way up in that old half dead oak! On both jobs CB is the one to call. Thanks Craig. You're the man! Susan

    Tree and Stump Removal

    Craig at CB Tree was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to reply and quote, came in less than the other quotes, and best of all - did a good job, respectful to both our and our neighbours' properties, and completely cleaned leaving no trace that work had even been done. Great job,will recommend.

    Removal of 3 large Austrian Pines and pruning many others

    After receiving quotes and advice from a few tree companies I looked on Homestars and found Craig at CB Tree. Craig was extremely helpful in calling the town of markham for me to find out if a permit was necessary. Other companies wanted to charge for the arborist report without knowing if it was necessary. Craig and his team removed the trees and the branches and wood with no problems. They also trimmed trees which overhang from my neighbors yard and had to deal with my neighbors who kept chanigng their minds! Craig always remained professional and was a pleasure to work with.

    Pruning over grown tree and clearing some seedling maples

    Found Craig on Homestars and read the reviews and they were bang on. He came by and provided a quote that was very affordable. We booked him and he came when he said he would and he and his crew left our backyard as if he was never there. He was very clean and professional.

    Beech Tree Pruning

    Craig came by to give us a quote and walked me through what was required and recommended. He laid out two options and promised he would meet my timeline (as I had just received an order from the city). Craig came by when the job was done and wrote up a report that I could submit to the city. His crew came when he said they would and did an excellent job. Everything that we had talked about was done as they had promised. As a bonus, my son got a real kick out of watching his crew climb through the trees and lower the branches down to the ground by rope (or just plain gravity). I felt bad, as they were there longer than was expected. They cleaned up my yard and even provided me with firewood for my fireplace.

    Tree Cut

    I found Craig on the yellowpages website. When I spoke with him, he was very friendly and said he would come by to quote. He did so in the next couple of days and this past Saturday the tree was down. It was great because the City has ordered it down, so it was great that Craig and his team were available to take it down with such a tight turnaround.

    tree removal

    In the middle of February, we noticed that our linden tree in the backyard started to split. We noticed growing cracks on the lower trunk. We called several tree service companies, but 2-3 never responded (including one that has high ranking here on Home Stars), may be they do not provide services in Winter. However, we managed to collect a few quotes. One of the big companies told us they may damage our playground in backyard or our deck, but Craig said that he does all work safely and carefully. Craig from CB Tree and another well known company quoted same price, but Craig was ready to start in 2 days (on Saturday!), while another company could start only in 3 weeks. Since our linden tree was leaning towards the house and it was too hazardous to wait, we decided to hire CB Tree. In addition, Craig provided to us a few options like whether we would like to keep wood for our fireplace, then price will be lower, or if we want all chunks of wood to be removed, then price will be higher since complete clean up requires more time and more work. We liked this flexibility and his readiness to negotiate a reasonable contract. I asked Craig for a copy of his insurance, and he showed me the document without hesitation. On Saturday, Craig and Ray secured our linden tree and carefully dismantled it. They removed all top branches and cleaned the backyard well. Since we decided to keep logs for our fireplace, they cut them carefully and put them in a heap. Now we have a lot of firewood for our fireplace. Also, Craig wrote a detailed arborist's report without any extra charge. All work was done safely and exceeded all our expectations. Next day, when we collected logs, we kicked one of the large cuts from the lower trunk, and were surprised to see that it split into 2 halves on the ground. It was obvious that if the tree would not be removed, it could damage our house. A few days later there was a strong storm, but fortunately for us, the tree has been already removed. Thanks a lot to Craig and Ray and for their hard work and taking care of this emergency on Saturday! We have already recommended CB Tree to our friends and neighbors.

    tree services

    We needed some dead branches to be cut back from some very tall trees and he quoted me a price that was 40% lower than the two other quote i got from other companies. In addition he suggested cutting back some other trees and included it in the same package and mind you with such pleasantness. IT WAS SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE AND I WOULD NOT HESITATE RECOMMENDING HIM TO ANYONE ELSE!!

I NEVER GOT TO TELL YOU BEFORE I LEFT, THAT WHEN I WAS FINISHING UP IN ONE OF THE TALL ELMS AT THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY, APPROXIMATELY 80 FEET UP IN THE AIR, A LARGE GOLDEN EAGLE LANDED ON A BRANCH ABOUT 15 FEET AWAY FROM ME. WE STARED AT EACH OTHER FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN HE BEGAN TO CROUCH DOWN AND LEAN TOWARD ME LIKE HE WAS GETTING READY TO LEAP OFF THE BRANCH AND ATTACK. I GOT A LITTLE SCARED SO BRANDISHING MY HANDSAW I BEGAN SHOUTING AND FLAILING MY ARMS ABOUT, LIKE A LUNATIC,TRYING TO WARD OFF THIS POTENTIAL ATTACK. THE EAGLE, WHO WAS HUGE, LOOKED CONFUSED, THEN STOOD UPRIGHT AGAIN,TURNED AND SLOWLY FLEW OFF IN THE OTHER DIRECTION. HE WAS MAGNIFICENT. HE HAD A WINGSPAN OF ABOUT 6 FEET AND IT WAS A REAL PLEASURE (AND A RELIEF) TO WATCH HIM FLY OFF. I'LL NEVER FORGET IT. THE WHOLE INCIDENT WOULD HAVE GONE UNNOTICED, BUT MY ARBORIST WHO WAS JUST ENTERING THE BACKYARD HEARD ME SHOUTING AND LOOKED UP IN TIME TO SEE THE EAGLE TAKE OFF.
