    Home Inspection

    I was in the market for a house and I decided to go with this company because of their past reviews and recommendations from others in my neighbourhood who had used Classic Home Inspections. These guys know what they're doing in terms of efficiency, knowledge and customer service. They found a couple of things wrong with the house but nothing that would break the bank. At the end of it, peace of mind is what I needed and Classic Home inspections gave that to me. Thanks Brent and Elie

    Pre-Sale Home Inspection

    We plan to sell our house in the Spring, and to avoid any potential surprises after an offer is signed, we arranged for a pre-sale home inspection of our property. We hired Brent of Classic Home Inspections and were very happy with the service provided. Brent arrived on time and truly took the time to properly review all anspects of the exterior and interior of our house. With over 10 years experience in this business, Brent was able to point out any minor deficiencies that could easily be fixed, and discussed what some of the key issues could be and what he is looking for. He was very knowledgeable and personable, patiently answering all of our questions. He prepared a written report on site and left us with a binder that contained not only the report, but a host of things a homeonwer should be aware of and do during ownership of a property. Brent followed up with the electronic summary report within 48 hours. We would hire Brent again and can definietly recommend his services to potential home buyers and home sellers.

    Home Inspection

    Brent was great today. I am a first time home buyer and he was very big help. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, he answered all my questions and then some. Thanks Brent

    Condo Inspection

    After contacting Brent on short notice he was promptly able to come out and do a Condo Inspection. The final report was clearly laid out and the pictures included provide an invaluable insight before closing the property purchase. If you are looking for a through yet funny and easy going inspector, Brent would not disappoint. Highly Recommended. -Dmitri

    home inspection

    I had Brent do an inspection yesterday on a home I'm purchasing in Whitby. From initial contact he was friendly, accommodating to my schedule, and professional. He was very thorough, informative and willing to answer any questions I had (even when I asked the same one in different ways!) I'm so pleased and relieved to have plenty of valueable info. and tips about the house. A million thanks Brent, and I won't hesitate to refer you to everyone I know!

    Home inspection

    I usually don't write reviews because I don't usually meet people who are worth effort. But I was very surprised by the level of customer service that I received. He's friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. Brent was able to find an old heater that was buried near the house which would have cost me thousands of dollars to remove if I had purchased the house and found it after the fact and he was able to find leaks in the roof that would have been detrimental to the life of the house if they weren't addressed immediately. Overall I saved $10000 after this home inspection; that's definitely worth my review! Good job to the guys at Classic Home Inspections, keep up the great work! I would definitely recommend these guys!

    Home inspection

    Brent came by and did a home inspection for us yesterday. He was prompt, personable and thorough. It was great to have someone objective come in and tell you the truth about your future home no matter how in love with it you are!

    Home Inspection

    Brent was great from the get go. Very flexible with his schedule that adapted to ours. Was at the home before we got there and was already looking over the home and discussing with current home owner. Continued to inspect the home as we discussed with our real estate agent. He was extremely helpful and professional while providing a real friendly experience and provided us with great follow-up information and photos. Would recommend Brent to anyone looking for a home inspector. Thanks! and Go Leafs Go

    Victorian Home Inspection

    After much research and subsequent consultation with our realtor we decided to hire Brent of Classic Home Inspections to inspect a 120+ year old Victorian home we were thinking of purchasing. As a young family looking to purchase our first home we were worried about everything that could be wrong with a house of this nature. Brent came in and gave us an incredibly honest and diligent inspection. He went over every inch of the home, explained in detail all of the issues, and why they could potentially be huge hazards to our family. He took lots of photographs and gave us only the most honest answers to our questions. After Brent's inspection of the home we decided it would be best not to put in an offer, as the multitude of serious issues had grown to be too much for us. Although we haven't purchased the home, or put in an offer, I am incredibly thankful for the inspection, not only did Brent save us from making a huge mistake with one of the biggest investments of our lives, but I learned so much about what to look for at our next home viewing. Let me tell you, I will be spending a lot more time in the basement and much less time marveling at the crown molding. We will 100% be calling Brent back again next time we are interested in a home, and hopefully next time will be "the one". Thank you Brent!

    All I can say is "wow" and thank you so much for that review Ana! Actually, "Thank you" ten time over! Ana, your comment, "I will be spending a lot more time in the basement and much less time marvelling at the crown moulding", couldn't be more bang on. No question about it, that was a beautiful old Toronto home. But to have big time structural issues like that, all because people did a poor renovation to the home. You certainly were right on with completely ignoring the "pre-listing inspection" report that was provided, which made absolutely no mention of the 50K structural issues that the home had, and going with your instinct by bringing in another home inspector to confirm your thoughts. It's always disappointing to get this information from the inspection, but you and I know that your "Dream Home" awaits! Thank you so much again Ana, thank you for choosing Classic Home Inspections!

    Condo Inspection

    I have to express my gratitude to Brent for being effective and quick to respond to my questions via email; before I even booked an appointment for CHI to check out my potential property. As a first time buyer, (single female), I was unsure as to whether I should have the condo inspected. Brent was honest with his response and respectful. When it came down to the inspection, he was punctual, thorough and clear. I felt very confident in the unit after he inspected it. Thank you Brent, and Classic Home Inspection for giving me peace of mind in my condo find!

Many a condo that I've inspected have had issues where the potential buyers actually walk from the deal. Something like leaky windows (which is very common) Most people will say, yes, but its covered by the condo corp, true, but when the suite is 20 floors up, are they going to fix it any time soon? ...
