    home inspection on an offered property

    This service was performed on Aug 30 2012, but got busy and forgot to write one afterwards until coming on HomeStars recently for other reasons. We needed to get the home inspected urgently before we waive the condition on the purchase agreement. We emailed a few inspectors on Aug 29 to see who can come out on the 30th. Brent replied me the quickest and was able to come out on the evening of the 30th. He was thorough with the inspection, explained everything to me in detail, and also taught me a lot about how to identify some problems myself. Brent emailed me a link to access all the photos he has taken once he got home and provided me a binder of all the information/findings from the inspection. Definitely recommend Brent to all my friends. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND HONEST GUY!

    home inspection

    These guys are awesome. Very helpful, kind, professional. He was on time and discussed every detail with us. i would recommend this to any home buyer. They also came on really short notice. I emailed the day before and they were able to fit us in within 24 hours of contacting them. Thanks Classic home inspecions!

    New Home Inspection

    Brent arrived right on time (down to the minute) and was very professional and friendly. He made me feel at ease from the second he got to the house. He conducted his inspection thoroughly making sure he didn't miss anything and giving advice as he did so. Exceptional job throughout, and he knows a bit about hockey too! Thanks again, Brent!

    pre-purchase home inspection

    I had reviewed classic home inspections earlier and had rated it very highly, but it later turned out that very important things had been missed that were in plain sight. Good: Brent was a great guy and had spotted a few things that were helpful to us. He was realistic with his estimates on renovation costs etc and spent a fair bit of time looking at the property. Bad: Brent failed to spot the fact that the addition built on our house did not have footings and that the entire deck was not secured properly. These were both in plain sight and should have been caught easily by a home inspector. We only found out once we had contactors come in for unrelated renos. Right now the city considers the structures unsafe and we have to replace both items at a very high cost. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

    30-day Tarion Home Inspection

    We called Brent in a extremely short notice and he managed to set up the inspection over the weekend. The Home inspector, Michael, was excellent and we covered the entire house with high level of details. Michael worked long hours and sent us the Tarion forms properly filled up just for printing out and send to Tarion and the builder. This was the best home inspection I have ever seen. I do recommend their services.

    Home Inspection

    Brent was a pleasure to talk with and to have inspect the house I am looking to purchase. He gave excellent tips, advise and solutions to be proactive about potential items that left unattended would be issues in the future. It was great to receive all the information right away and then the pictures digitally to review and get later that night. It was a pleasure and I would absolutely use again if needed, though I hope to stay in this house for awhile. THANKS so MUCH!, Brent allowed me to relax during this stressful time and really start to enjoy the idea of having my first home! I haven't smiled this much thinking about it before and it is due to Brent's amazing service!

    Home Inspection

    Brent from Classic Home Inspections did a very thorough review of our home. He inspected from top to bottom, rooftop to basement. He pointed out where improvements could be made, but also how to save money on repairs. I would highly recommend his services.

    Home Inspection

    Brent at Classic Home Inspections did a very thorough job with our home. He inspected all aspects of it: exterior, interior, top to bottom. His fee was fair and he offered a lot of sound advice on repairs. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a building inspector.

    Home Inspection

    Brent was great, very punctual , experienced and friendly He inspected every single area in my house and gave me a very detailed report with pictures. All the needed repairs were explained thoroughly and even gave an estimate cost for the repairs

    Brent was very professional, easy to talk to and very frank. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. We liked how we got a physical copy of the report at the end of the inspection, and digital photos by the end of the day. We would recommend Brent. Thanks!
