Like some of the other reviewers on this site, I don't usually take the time to write these reviews. I have been in the service industry for 25 years so I naturally expect good service when I give a company my business. That being said, I had to take a few minutes to thank Boris and his crew at Cozy World for their exceptional response to my HVAC situation. To make a long story short, my 20+ year old A/C unit died just before a major heat wave in Toronto(40+ humidex)and I was scrambling to get it replaced. I did all the Eco-research and finalized a quote with a company that immediately disapointed me by missing their scheduled installation date. After repeated attempts to reschedule the date, I decided to re-contact Boris at Cozy World (they also quoted the job and were my second choice). Not only did Boris respond immediately, he matched the competitors quote and scheduled an installation date within 3 days of my call. The 8 hour installation job was completed by his crew in a professional manner in 30+ degree Celsius heat and the job site was left in pristine condition. To top it off, Boris took all of 1 day to follow-up up with us, file the paperwork and provided us with the specific details required for my wife and I to take advantage of the Provincial ECO-rebates offered on the equipment that we purchased. There is no doubt that I would recommend Cozy World to anyone that is looking to replace or repair their furnace or A/C unit. One last note.....you have to get past the voice-mail message as it sounds a bit hoaky. R Denis Toronto, ON

My air conditioner came to a halt in the middle of the city's heatwave - just my luck. I didn't think it would be possible to get timely service at this time of the year. I was wrong. After contacting Cozy World, an appointment was set up quickly and so was the installation. Great communication all the way through and good pricing. The crew arrived on time, cleaned up well after themselves and Boris followed up to make sure everything went well. I highly recommend this company.

It's hard to imagine that a company could treat you any better than Cozy World treated us when they replaced our furnace/air conditioner. Every aspect of their operation was first-rate, and at a competitive price. Dealing with them was a dream.

In an industry that's often known for questionable ethics, it's rare to find an honest contractor and tradespeople who take such pride in their workmanship. As mentioned by others, Boris offers a straightforward assessment of your needs, absolutely no pressure and sticks to his posted prices (which are more than competitive if you do your research). The technicians were very courteous and the installation itself was superb - you could tell that extra care was taken with every aspect of the job. These reviews appear too good to be true but, in my experience, they completely reflect the quality of service you receive from Cozy World.

We purchased a house with ancient HVAC equipment. We quoted a number of companies for our new furnace and AC. Cozy world's price was competitive and they came highly recommended. I can certainly see why. Boris went through our options with us carefully and did a written quote for us on the spot. When we signed up to do the job with them, they scheduled us quickly, their installers showed up on time, they were knowledgeable, flexible, courteous, did a very good job on the install, and they cleaned up after themselves. The final bill was the same as the quote. Boris followed up after their visit to make sure it all went well. I would highly recommend Cozy World.

Our 26 year old air conditioner died in early June. I found Boris and Cozy World online and was impressed by the very positive reviews and the informative website complete with prices. We had 3 estimates from different companies. Boris' was the best. He was informative, thorough and there was no attempt at up selling or dissing competitors. His price was the best of the three. The installation was done quickly and neatly just before a hot, humid weekend. The new air conditioning unit is quiet and works very well. Paper work for the Government rebate was done very quickly also. I highly recommend Cozy World.

Boris was very professional in setting up the time and making sure we were kept informed of the arrival time. They arrived 2 hours later than predicted but that is often the case in the contractor world and the important thing is that Boris kept us informed all the way. He also called that night to make sure we were happy with the work. His workers were clean and professional. I would hire him again any time.

Let me start by saying that I was the biggest sceptic in these homestars reviews. I’m quite tech savvy with a firm understanding of social media and how it can be manipulated. How can a company go 88 ratings with perfect 10’s? To add, they named themselves ‘Cozy World’- sounds like a sketchy discount shop. On the other hand, I couldn’t pass up hundreds in savings on the off chance that these reviews be true. There are other review site users that echo same positive reviews on this company. At worst case, I get a quote- make a judgement on the company- and not go with them. I recommend any readers to do the same. Get a quote from these guys and give them a chance to earn your business. You have lots to gain, little to lose. You’ll still be skeptical when you hear the company voice message...they way they say “Cooooozy World”, it sounds like a late night informercial. Well I can confirm that all these reviews are valid. Meet Boris and you’ll quickly receive the impression that he strongly believes in the old school way of doing business. He’s not going to get a job selling time share vacations- he’s just too transparent and displays no closing techniques (zero pressure). Everyone before me has gone in to detail on their satisfaction on the install. I don’t believe any are exaggerated. The attention to detail seems almost neurotic. From estimate to install, with the use of shoe and floor covers I dont think a shoe sole has set foot in my house. The receipt is delivered in a plastic protector for preservation incase the warranty needs to be called upon on a later date. I actually felt compelled to write this review because of a sense of guilt. I would have paid more for the service rendered. I do sincerely hope that anyone looking for HVAC services do get a quote from this company. I’m certain that you’ll be doing yourself a favour. I will end this review with one negative....I still despise the name "Cozy World". Good luck on your search for your HVAC needs. Cheers, Mason

These guys helped me chose the right size and brand. The installation was performed much faster that I have expected. The unit is very quiet and running excellent. Finally, I can cool down the house. Great job!
