I called Fred early in the morning to inquire if he repair an AC pipe condensate that's leaking. Fred immediately came by and find the problem fast! I like how he knows where the problem is, he is really a handy guy!

These guys did a fantastic job. They replaced my furnace quickly, fixed some real problems I had with my air conditioner, and took the time to show me everything about the system. Excellent customer service. Steve Graham (Beaches Area)

First, I would just like to say unlike other highly reviewed companies I've dealt with, I wasn't encouraged or offered anything for righting a review, actually Fred never even mentioned Homestars. There is a reason this company has a perfect score! I called them up after my AC tripped the breaker and made a bad smell . Was told in advance service call would be 80$ and if labour or parts are required it will be additional. Fred came within a few hours, called in advance as I requested. AC completely not working. Found the problem in less than 15 min, was a furnace problem with wiring. Fixed it for me, also gave me good advice on changing filters (buy cheap, change more often because I have pets). Ended up charging just for the service call. No monkey business, no B.S (although I am clueless and could of told to replace the whole unit). That's how you get customers for life.

My air conditioner and furnace were 25+ years old. When I decided to change them I did my research and I contacted about 4 companies. Out of the 4 companies Cozy World were the best based on professionalism and price. It was a very smooth process. From the initial call, to the estimate, to the installation (clean up) Cozy World did a great job. Boris and his team really care about their work and really care about their customers. I would recommend Cozy World for all your heating / cooling needs.

When I called, the first time I got Boris' voicemail and he promptly got back to me and told me that he likely knew what the problem was with my air conditioner. He then suggested I call back a few weeks later so that the temperature was warmer and he could properly diagnose the problem. I did just that and ended up connecting with Fred (Farhad). He showed up exactly when he said he would, knew what the problem was immediately. Originally I was thinking I would just replace my air conditioner altogether. Fred recommended a good suggestion for a replacement but also told me how much it would cost to repair my air-conditioner. He then recommended that I try the repair for now considering the cost. In his words, "It was worth it." I know eventually that I will have to replace my air conditioner and also I know exactly who I'm going to call to get it done. Like all of you good folks here on Home Stars , I did my research . Our Air Conditioner lovingly lasted for 24 years but it was time for a new one . I called around , and even was offered a FREE air Conditioner from Reliance if I installed a new Furnace . ..But there was nothing wrong with our furnace and we had no real intentions of replacing it . I called a few companies that were rated in 9's and 8's as well as in the 10's ( thinking that the TOP company Cozy World ) would also probably be the most expensive , as that has been my experience in the past on Home Stars ...and I am a big believer in ' You get what you pay for " I called at least 4 different companies with 10 Star ratings , 2 got back in a timely fashion , all providing quotes over the phone . Fred from Cozy world got back to me the quickest .....and then instead of quoting me over the phone , showed up at my house to look at the work itself in order to quote me properly . Well , I hate to sound cheesy but " He had me at Hello " . Fred took his time , saw that our home was over 3500 square feet , and knew what it would take to cool /heat this large of space . He did not try to push me into buying a new furnace but explained how much more efficiently our A/C would run by us having both the furnace and A/C installed together , also of course the money that would be saved in the long run and the money saved by us doing it all at once. One of the things holding us back was the fact that we have about 20 filters for our furnace that we purchased at around $40 per filter , and we didn't want to waste them , and didn't think Home Depot would take them back . We always seem to have a hard time finding our exact size , so when Home Depot had them on sale last year my husband bought as many as he could . Fred carefully examined the situation and then came up with an ingenious solution , he would custom build us a 'boot' to hold the filter !!!! Then he told us that he would sell us the filter directly in the future for 50% cheaper than what we were paying at Home Depot !!!! Yep Folks , it was love . If all this wasn't enough to convince us , his price certainly was . My Husband is currently not working so money for us is very tight , Cozy World , hands down had come in at the best most affordable price . WITHOUT QUESTION , and because I explained our financial situation to Fed, he provided us with 3 , THREE, different quotes , so that we would not feel pressure and could go with what was in our price range and feel comfortable . I don't think I have ever met a contractor who was so personable, so professional and so accommodating all in one . The day of installation had Cozy World at our Door at 830am , first thing they did was lay down cloth sheets and cardboard to protect my floors and stairs , then they went straight to work , and worked for 12 hours straight !! I felt so bad to see them working in the rain and offered coffee, tea ,a bite to eat , but they just kept smiling and working , IN THE POURING RAIN !!! I am so eternally grateful to Fred and Cozy World . They did such an amazing job , our new Furnace is whisper quiet and half the size of our old one . Our new A/C sits proudly on a new Stone Bracket that Fred built ( he is very creative ) . I hope I do not need to call Fred or his team in the near future and that there are no problems with his work , but I do know that I will NEVER call anyone else for my HVAC needs and will without exception , refer him and Cozy World to everyone and anyone I know . If you are still reading this review , do yourself a favour , save yourself the time, headache and aggravation of calling around for quotes . Not all Homestars companies are created equal! Once we decided it was time to change our 15 year old furnace & air conditioner we contacted 3 Homestars companies each with a 10 rating. Boris from Cozy World returned our call within the same day & was at our front door the next day to check out what we needed & what we had as our existing equipment. We are still waiting for return phone calls from the other two companies. Boris arranged to have his installer & assistant visit our home the next day,before we even decided to give the job to Cozy World, in order to check out the situation. We have a finished basement, a full deck in the backyard & live in a town house attached on both sides. Everyone wanted to make sure how this job could be done with minimal breakage to walls, ceilings & deck. Since we never heard from the other two companies & already had done our due diligence on pricing we decided to work with Cozy World & gave them the job. In order to help the process we decided to have our deck floor opened on our own so that Kam & his assistants would not need to do it, even though they were prepared to. The day of installation went like a well oiled machine. Kam & his team arrived at 8:30 AM. About an hour later Boris arrived with the furnace & air conditioner units. That's right the owner of the company personally delivered the new equipment! Getting the new furnace into the house was no issue but the air conditioner unit was a different story. Boris drove around the corner about a block away & two of the workers with a dolly rolled the new 200 pound unit across the open field & into my back yarn. They had to take the old air conditioner unit out the same way. After installation, around 4:00 PM, another truck arrived to remove all the debris, old furnace, air conditioner coil,cardboard boxes & cleaned up my entire garage. That was a total of 4 workers, not including Boris the owner. I want to thank Kam & his installation team, Valie & Chris, for a job well done! Needless to say I would recommend Cozy World to any one who is going to change their furnace & air conditioners. If Homestars had a higher star rating than 10 they should definitely put Cozy World into it as in my opinion they certainly stand alone! Sheldon & Rochelle

I am another satsified customer of Cozy World. Needed to install a new ac unit in my 25 year old house. Boris showed up the day I made my inquiry and was able to quickly recommend a unit and offer a fair price. No attempt to push higher priced units, and came across as honest and forthright. Installation just a couple days later that was quick and clean. Without hesitation I would add my name to the many people who recommend this company.

The consistently high ratings on Homestars led me to Cozy World and I was not disappointed. The installation was done in such a satisfactory way that I had no hesitation in recommending Cozy World to my father when he too sought to convert to natural gas. Boris cares about what he is doing and about what is being done in his/Cozy World's name.
