    Air conditioner

    Brand new AC not working properly

    We purchased a brand new AC and Furnace through Enercare 2 weeks ago. - we have broken promises, an AC that is not working properly & a 'sales rep' who is not returning calls/emails. I've spent hours wasted with their call centre and though the call centre reps are lovely, their hands are tied because we need to deal with the sales rep to get the issues resolved. So now they have over 12K of our money and we can't get them to return a call or email - completely unethical. * Brand new AC not working properly * Did not standardize the filters as they said they would * Debris and garbage left inside our home * Cancelled technician appts * HOURS spent on hold with the call centres

    Ripped off by Enercare Home Services

    As per terms of the Cooling Maintenance Plan (which runs July 2017 to July 2018), an Enercare technician first came to look at my Central Air Conditioner in September 2017. He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. When I asked for a signed work order, he was not able to give me a piece of paper to show that he was here and did nothing. I had nothing in writing that he was even here in Sept. 2017 to look at the A/C. I wanted to cancel the Maintenance Plan, but was told that I can only ask that the Plan NOT BE RENEWED but cannot ask that the Plan be cancelled no matter what and there is no refund for service not provided. In May 2018, another technician from Enercare came to look at the A/C unit and charged me $111.87 + HST = $126.41 in order to give me a diagnosis. This second technician was unable to figure out what's wrong with the A/C. He said that I needed to have another test done to find out what's wrong (at a cost of some $2500 - $3500 including Environmental Fees and with no guarantee that the test would be able to diagnose any problems accurately or correctly). This visit was another total waste of time and money. Since I had requested this useless visit, even though this technician was unable to do a definitive diagnosis, did not know what's wrong with the A/C, and hence did not know what needed to be done to repair the A/C, I will pay $126.41 for this service call as it was my own stupidity to request this service call in the first place. But I definitely do not deserve to be charged the $67.68 for the Cooling Maintenance Plan which did not honor any of the terms of service and did absolutely NOTHING for me. I would like the unjustly charged $67.68 credited back to my Enercare Account as soon as possible.

    furnace ac combo

    Enercare after quite a late came for ac service covered on our plan, comet system in good condition after checking everything. 3 day later ac quit temp in house rose up over 90 .spent over one hr on phone then left a call back number finally late that night got a call back and set a appointment had to wait as they were experienceing high usage.second tecknition came spin a very short time inside only and told us the unit was junk need compleat unit not worth repairing a 500.00 dollar eviorment charge would apply not covered by plan ;as this seemed strange I talked to labours who had similar reports .called a reliable ac furnace company long water as they were busy .but the came and checked system found no leak but the evaporation coil needed cleaning , both Enercare ticks had not taken grill of out side to check in side after cleaning ac working good. I will try to get my money back but donot hold much hope

    air conditioner

    My air conditioner did not work at two of my houses and Colin our repair person was fabulous. First off he was friendly and polite an took the time to explain everything. He repaired my system and didnt rush. He was very knowledgeable, because of this I will purchase/rent later this year a new furnace and air conditioner from this company. I will pass this information on to all my friends and co-workers

    Water heater replaced efficiently

    Service was excellent and the technicians were polite. The new water heater was installed quickly and satisfactorily. My only reservation relates to the lack of clean-up. Water and black gunk was left on the basement floor and there was a trail of rust flakes from the old heater.

    Air conditioner repair

    I was able to schedule the appoint today very quickly even on a weekend during a heat wave. The technician arrived right on time and quickly fixed the problem. He was also very friendly and helpful.

    furnace and AC installation

    arrived as scheduled, worked efficiently, answered my questions and took time in letting me make decisions. Left area clean. Carrier AC seems to be working quietly and cooling house . I'm pleased I chose Enercare.

    Electrical service

    Steve Ferreira came out to do a few things in the house for me - install light fixtures, a new outlet, fixed the door bell, etc. He was great; very knowledgeable, very courteous and friendly. He made a few recommendations but not pushy at all. Very helpful. Work was done well.

    Maintenance of A/C

    Sheila Tomlinson, the technician was an excellent representative of your company. She was professional, courteous and friendly at all times. She explained the entire service clearly. She answered all my questions completely. She is a credit to your company. It was a pleasure to deal with her.
