Air Conditioning and Heating Maintenance Plan

I don't know if it is the company or the customer service, they don't seem to know what they are doing or they just want to make things hard to fool people like me. I signed up for the service plan a little more than half a year ago, a minimum one year contract. At the time I said that I intend to move within about half a year but was given assurance that the service can be moved to my new house. I thought that was cool. Than came the time to ask for moving the service plan, so I called about 2 weeks before the moving date. Some confusion at first but after talking to another person it was finally done (so I thought, believing too easily with the guy). Weeks later I called back with intention of scheduling annual service and was told that the service has not been moved to my new house yet. What??? But, I kept my cool and patiently asked for the service to be moved (once again!). After being transferred several times and being put on hold numerous times finally the guy said "done". I asked "Can I schedule a service now?" and was told to wait for the new bill to show up then call so I waited ... waited and .... finally ..... the bill showed up. But to my surprise the bill was for the service plan for remaining of the year for my old house! Basically a penalty for early cancellation! Stay away from this Company!

    Furnace maintenance

I have a furnace rental, so this maintenance was part of the rental agreement. The appointment was easy to arrange and the service called before he got here, and then was here exactly when he said he would be.

    Air conditioner repair

Repair work was done on our air conditioner which had a coolant leak. The cost for repair was for a leak test to determine the components requiring replacement. The work was done in a professional & timely manner, with the unit working again later that day. By having this repair work done, the $300 repair cost was most favourable in lieu of a $3,000 - $5,000 cost for a new a/c unit.

Thanks so much! We appreciate the great feedback.

Enercare Plumbing and Drain Protection Plan

Do not buy Enercare's Plumbing and Drain Protection Plan. It is a bogus plan that is worthless and misrepresented. You will not get the service you think you are purchasing. An Enercare salesperson sold me a Plumbing and Drain Protection Plan over the phone and stated that it covered parts and labour for plumbing and drain problems. I specifically asked if it covered faucets and was told yes, it covered parts and labour, but if the faucet was not repairable, then I would be responsible for purchasing a new faucet, but they would install it. The first time I tried to use the plan for a leaking tap, they wanted to charge me for the part, the labour, and the time it would take for the repair person to drive to Home Depot and purchase the part and return. I lodged a complaint and they agreed to pull the original sales conversation. I requested a copy of the full conversation at that time. They since made their decision that the plan wasn't misrepresented and I'm still waiting 2 months later for a copy of the original conversation. Do not buy this plan, it is bogus and worthless. They refused to cancel the plan, refused to refund my money, refused to do the repairs and have not sent me the conversation so I can prove that I was misinformed on what I was purchasing.

    Hot water tank replacement

You were very responsive to our request. Your technicians arrived the very next day to replace the tank. They were very efficient and cleaned up after the work was done.

    Furnace Maintenance

I signed up for furnace maintenance 4 years ago and had to cancel every visit they scheduled for whatever reason (funeral, unexpected late work). It is up to the customer to call back and rebook the visit. It is my own fault I let it go this long but, the plan automatically renews annually for $120 one time fee per year but it is up to the customer to book the single visit. The plan AUTOMATICALLY renews regardless if you recieved service or not. I'm on hold now to cancel my water heater rental from them so they don't get another dime from me or anyone I know.

I replaced the old water heater with new tankless one. In was told that we could use 2 showers at one time. This is not true. When the flush is pulled, pwater pressure drops in the shower. The service rep told me we have been misled by the sales person. Someone please call me on 4164970902.
