    Installated water heater

    Phil & Jay did a fabulous job replacing our old water heater with a new. They were polite, quick, and clean! We had some issues with changing the piping because of tight space but they managed to work around it so that walls did not have to broken. Very professional! Excellent job!

    Hot water heater installation

    The installation team were on time, professional, friendly and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Their manager Annemarie also stopped by to check on their progress. It is nice to work with a company who actually care about their clients. I recommend Enercare to everyone.

    Bad service

    Our hydro got cut off over 240 dollars!!! This was only 2 months overdue. I was told that any over due balance of 60 days warrants a shut off even if it's $100. Then they charge you a $110 fee. I called to complain and the customer care lady was rude and disrespectful. I asked for a manager and she said they don't have one there is have to wait 24 hours for someone to call me. What kind of company doesn't have a manager on site all day? Over all very unhappy and want to move over there service not the first problem.

    Boiler pump failure.

    Only a minute or two for a response to my phone calls. Everyone I dealt with was polite & friendly. The repair was delayed by the first part being delivered broken, but the replacement part was rushed through. When the tech(Gary) came he also was very polite & friendly but also very efficient and left the place tidy. So I am very pleased. Covered by the boiler maintenance & repair plan.

    Hot water tank

    We were without hot water for a day. Thanks to Dave Boyd the technician who did an excellent job in restoring service to us. We now have hot water again.

    Plumbing protection program

    I have the plumb. Protection plan and have been without hot water for a week. Enercare will cover cost of faucet cartridges (are free) but labour 250$/hr. Really bad protection

    Furnace installation and Maintenance

    We purchased our furnace from Enercare (formerly Direct Energy) 6 years ago and initial contact at that time, was in the dead of winter, when our electric forced air furnace broke down and could not be repaired. Another company left us, literally, out in the cold but Enercare stepped right in not only making the process of conversation to a gas furnace doable in an extremely short time frame, but also a smooth transition without incident. Since then we have been completely satisfied with the yearly inspections.

    Let it Flow

    The Consultation was quick and easy to understand the benefits as well the choices were clearly presented to make an informed decision. The home Installation was as presented by rep, nice clean work at the home, plan for a day it was a lot of work.

    Furnace inspection/cleaning

    Called Enercare for service for furnace... Jay arrived at the house. He was on time, super courteous and provided me with all the information I needed to make decisions about maintenance of this furnace vs getting a new one. He even gave advice about the water heater while he was working.... very helpful and will definitely recommend!

    Furnace/AC rental combo

    Enercare billing is incredibly dishonest. I called them today because they have been overcharging me $16.95/month. I was told they have to write a support ticket so that the back billing department can investigate. If I want them to fix the mistake, I have to call them back in a week for any adjustment to be made because the back billing department doesn't have time to call customers back. I regret choosing Enercare as my service provider and will avoid them in the future.
