    Heating

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They do not know how to deal with frustrated customers and they certainly do not care to lose your business at all. "You want to cancel your services? That's up to you..." Totally antagonizing, when your already fed up. Arrogant rude call representatives who don't care about their customers complaints at all. Who blatantly refuse to transfer to a supervisor . Takes weeks to find "resolution" which is ultimately cancelling my services. Would never reccomend this company for protection and will tell everyone I know to cancel their services also. Thank god for the Internet and reviews!!!!! Don't get sucked into their services.

    Best Service Ever!

The gentleman that came to service our Central Air Conditioning system was excellent. He arrived on time and even phoned a few minutes before to be sure we were home and prepared for his call. After doing the outside unit he came in to see the furnace, checked our filter, reset our damper switch to summer.. he showed me the switch demonstrating twice how to find and operate the damper. Your representative then did a check on the temperature outside the system ( in the basement area) then the temperature inside the ducts to show how much cooler was the air-conditioned airflow. One of the best service technicians I have encountered. I am aged 65 so I have had many service persons.

Central air conditioner maintenance and repair

Enercare sent a technician to maintain a central a/c unit in a tenant apartment. The agent promised a charge of $99 for diagnosis. If there was a problem to be repaired, there would be a further charge, which I agreed to. Enercare's technician went to the tenant's house and found no problem with the a/c aside from the fact that it is a unit nearing the end of its service life. The technician did no repair work on the unit. The technician did change the filter, a filter that I provided. That took 15 seconds. Enercare counted that filter change as a repair and charged me a total for the "repair" and "diagnosis." No real work was done on the unit. When I confronted Enercare over this outrageous bill, the "customer care" person insisted that the filter change constituted a "repair" and was subject to the minimum labour charge of $99 per half hour of the technician's time. I would be happy to be for real service. This was bogus. Beware of this company's evasive and tricky language. I will not deal with this company again.

    Air Conditioner

Called Enercare on Monday as our A/C wasn't working properly. Was going to purchase the Repair and maintenance package but the lady on the phone informed me that our furnace and A/C were still under warranty. Mike the repair man came over the next afternoon and had it up and running in no time. He even explained to my husband what the problem was and what he did to diagnose it. I would suggest Enercare to all my friends and family.

    Cooling, heating plumbing protection plan

Cooling not effective called enercare on Friday, the technician called on Monday, after diagnostic he asked me to change the filter, and charged $111/- towards diagnostic charges???i called up customer care, they say particular part of furnace is not covered, hence I have to pay diagnostic charges??? When I m covered under protection plan why extra charges ????in that case what's the use of protection plan???? Before enrolling think twice, they only squeeze the money???!!

    Answer from pro:

Hi Raghu- Please see pages 4-7 of the attached Terms and Conditions of the Heating and Cooling Protection plans. It outlines what parts and services are and are not covered by your plan. Thank you!

    Air conditioner service

Very good service. Although my four-hour window turned into a five-hour window, and I would have liked to have received a courtesy call in this regard, the service upon arrival was courteous, and the follow-up the next day, during another four-hour window, at which time an almost two-hour service was required, was exceptional.

Furnace, Air Conditioner and Hot Water Tank

My customer service technician was fantastic. Between all the services delivered to my home this year, each technician I would highly recommend. Great Job Enercare! I hope that I can have the same tech's yearly servicing my home.

    Excellent and friendly service

We have been dealing with Enercare for years, for our furnace and air conditioner needs. The service technicians have always been very friendly and knowledgeable and always addressed our issues. The customer service reps are also very friendly and efficient. All in all, a great and very trustworthy company. We recently had our ducts cleaned by Enercare and were very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of the technician. He explained the process along the way and was very respectful of our house. There was nothing left to clean up after he finished.

    Poorest Customer Service!!!!!!

We had an airconditioner service done. maintenance guy came and said he need to send someone else. Next day the mechanic came and said parts needs to be ordered and told us that someone will call to book sppointment. Parts arrived arrived on the same day. We are still waiting for a call from someone to book appointment. In spite of extremely hot weather and a very old and fragile senior at home and 3-4 calls, we are still waiting. Their processes are completely screwed up and there is no way to escalate! I strongly recommend not to go with this company. They were rude at times and did not demonstrate any compassion for us.
