    Air Condition service

We called EnerCare to service our airCondioner, they sent a young man he was the best, courteous, helpful and kind. His name is David. I feel he needs to be recognized for a job well done.

    Service air conditioner

I have a plan with Enecare which takes care of the charges. The technician was very polite and professional. Arrived on time did his job. It would be nice if I could have him back to service the furnace in the fall.

    Bathroom sink repair

We called Enercare to repair our ensuite bathroom sink which had developed a leak. Service technician Steve attended on time. The service performed by Steve was exceptional. Fixed our problem and left no mess. Very impressed with the whole experience.

Service and 48 working hours to address a complaint is pathetic

On April 26, 2016 I contacted Enercare regarding a problem with my hot water pressure in my hot water tank. A Enercare representative came out to service my hot water tank on April 26, 2016. The dip tube required replacement. The representative replaced this dip tube in my hot water tank, but in the process he manipulated the copper pipes above the hot water tank, resulting in a leak of hot water directly on top of my hot water tank. He advised me first, that my copper pipe had been leaking (when in fact it had not), and secondly, that a plumber would need to be called to fix the pipe. This was at 5:30 p.m., leaving me with having to deal with a leak that got progressively worse overnight. The leak became so bad that I had to turn off the water supply to my house so I would not wake up to a flood in my basement the next morning. I am now out $169.50 for the services of a plumber to fix a leak that was not there prior to Enercare servicing my hot water tank. Their 48 WORKING hours policy of follow up regarding a complaint is absolutely pathetic. I have emailed the company and called them 3 times to be told my complaint has been escalated. My latest call was to them today to advised them that if I did not receive a call by 4 p.m. I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which I have now done. No surprise, I am still waiting to hear back from them.

    Service

Mark, the Service person, arrived early in the allocated time. He was very courteous and explained the benefits of what he was doing at each stage. Checked all hoses and cleaned them of sediment.

    Water Tank Service Call

My water tank was leaking and a call to Enercare's 7/24 hotline produced a service call appointment at my convenience even though it was a Sunday morning. The technician diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly. I was impressed by how polite, courteous and professional the service was from beginning to end.

    Protection Plan

Agree with the previous review. Was promised an amount for the protection plan and still waiting for it to get resolved. They sale it to you and then give you the round around in trying to reach someone to get it adjusted as they over bill you to a 100.00 a month. Found them to be dishonest with the protection plan billing. Don't provide what they offer, don't reply or get back to you with messages left.

    Furnace service.

I own my furnace, rather than renting it, and I have a monthly service plan with Enercare to take care of maintenance issues when they arise. When my furnace started making noises, I called Enercare and hoped they wouldn't just try to sell me a new furnace instead of fixing the one I have. The booking agent I spoke with was friendly, and offered me same-day, and next-day options for when my service appointment could occur. The service tech who attended my home was neat, communicative, and friendly. He performed his repair quickly and neatly, and most importantly, without the $800 price tag such a visit and repair would cost without the service plan. Good work.

    Furnace cleaning & repair

I have used these services for the past 3 years and am very happy with the timeliness of your response. My furnace has been repaired quickly, while the annual cleaning keeps it in top shape. Because I am on a monthly plan, the cost is easy to handle and is definitely appreciated when my aging furnace has required parts and labour - all at no additional charge! (you can call it 'the peace of mind' plan)

    Terrible customer service

The hot water heater that I owned developed a leak & water flooded my basement. An Enercare serviceman came out to assess it & booked a service appt to replace my hot water tank with a rental tank within 2 days. I was given a 4 hr appointment window. I left work early & waited 4 hrs. No one came. When I called, I was on the phone for 1 hour. I was transferred to three different people & put on hold several times The longest hold was 25 minutes. They could not explain what happened. They tentatively rescheduled it for the next evening. It was tentative because it was now too late in the day to confirm (10PM) I was told. I was told someone would call by 1 pm the next day & confirm the 5-9pm appt. No one confirmed. When I called to confirm, I waited on hold multiple times again, was transferred to 2 different people & was finally told 40 minutes later that they could not find the appointment. They offered to rebook another 4 hour window the next day. I asked if I could have a smaller appointment window given the inconvenience of the past two days. I was told that was not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor who again told me that it was not possible. I have taken my business to another company. I will let my friends and family know about this experience and advise them not to do do business with Enercare.
