    Furnace cleaning/check up

    The technician was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. Booking the appointment was easy. The bill went right on to my gas bill, which was convenient. They will remind me next year that I need service which is great as I often forget about the furnace.

    New Hot Water Heater Installation

    We just bought a new home and the hot water heater needed replacing. We had a technician come to our house to give us an estimate for replacing it. He was funny and nice and was understanding that I wanted to have it moved to a more convenient location in the basement. I called to make an appointment and they gave me the time and day I needed. They called just before they came. They installed the new heater and took away the old one. Very happy.

    Install new furnace and water heater

    Our furnace and heater were installed within 4 hrs., 2 days after a routine inspection. All staff and crew were professional and courteous. The crew tidied up after they were done.

    Air Conditioner Repair and Maintenance Service

    I have Enercare come out to fix my AC which needed some new valves and such. It required three visits and a test. The sales person on the phone convinced me to sign up for the maintenance plan saying it would cover up to $500 of the repair and up to 3 visits. The guys did a good and fast job on the repair, all my issues are on the billing side. I ended up getting a bill for over $1000 for the repair PLUS the maintenance. After a dozen phone calls and explaining what was 'sold' to me they FINALLY agreed and we settled on a number... Or so I thought... A week ago (6 months later) I got an "adjustment" bill for another $300. When I called, they could tell me why and said they'd call me back in a week... Really... A week. Never again.

    Hot water tank removal

    Worst company ever to deal with extremely poor customer service. I decided to buy my own hot water tank. Called enercare to get instructions from them so not to have any issues. I followed everything they told me to do even told them I'd reluctantly return their tank to their depot to save a $75 pick up fee. I waited the 2 billing cycles and to my shock they are billing me for a hot water tank buy out because according to their records they can't find my tank. Well I have receipts from their depot saying I dropped off the tank complete with serial number etc. I have given enercare the numbers from the receipt etc but they disagree saying the tank is still in my possession!!!!! So now after 4 months and numerous calls to enbridge to get the right amount of my bill so I can pay them minus enercare' portion I'm well beyond pissed off. Enercare you as a company suck. Your customer service reps suck and if this continues for another billing cycle I'll be forced to take legal action against you.

    Furnace and Air conditioning and Plumbing protection and repair plan

    I have been with Enercare (formely Direct Energy) for many years and have always had prompt service, courteous service technicians to my home and excellent customer service on the phone with the company for any question or purchase of the plan. I recently had a conversation with a representative named Braden who gave me all the time I required plus some. He was the most courteous representive I have yet to have a conversation with and he obviously enjoys serving clients for Enercare. I recommend Enercare.

    Water Heater rental

    Forcing an 85 year old senior to pay for a plan she never okayed. trying to resolve for the last 6 months. Different people saying conflicting things. Very poor customer service!

    Bathtub Drain Cleaning and Furnace Maintenance

    (1.) Our bathtub drain was severely clogged, even after attempts to use a plunger to clear it. The Enercare tech did his job quickly and professionally. (This was covered by enercare "insurance") (2.) We did not have a maintenance check of our furnace for some time, so we booked the enercare service. The technician did his job well, and checked the heater as well. The job was done quickly and professionally.
