Tonight for the 2nd time I tried to cancel Hot Water rental and Home Protection Plan purchased back in October 2005. 1st time on hold forever and then connection dropped. Second time two hours to get a callback and then continually on hold as they build a "case" for each request. I had to wait 15 years to get out of the tank rental without penalty and still have to pay $75 to have the it picked up or drop it off myself (I'm 56 year old woman with a Toyota Corolla!!) As for the HPP, what they don't tell you is that every time they call with a promotion etc., it changes the anniversary date of your plan. So I have been told that my anniversary date is now actually July, and I will have to continue to pay $23.99 per month for another 9 months. Buyer be very aware!!
