    Furnace Maintenance

    We had Direct Energy install a new H.E. Furnace and AC, last year. To fulfill the Warranty, we called Direct Energy, to service the Furnace. Graig O'Quinn, arrived within the allotted time, greeted us, with a handshake and a smile, slipped on his protective booties, then proceeded toward the furnace room. He was polite and informative, performed his job thoroughly, and left with a handshake and a smile. Job Well Done Craig !!

    Furnace contract for service and cleaning

    I had paid for a maintenance contract for my home. I scheduled a cleaning of my furnace and they tried to sell me unnecessary work and a hot water tank

    Furnace Maintenance

    Had furnace maintenance plan for 14 years. Annual maintenance performed every year. First major problem occurred this week during coldest day of year. Was informed by the technician that the furnace was not covered under their protection plan, and that I should cancel immediately. Called and tried to cancel, but told that I must pay balance of contract for rest of year. Left with no heat,and Direct Energy did not offer to help locate parts, install new furnace or offer any other solution. Shameful. Beware.

    service of whole home humidifier

    Long time customer of Direct Energy. We have always been happy with the service, both on the phone and in person. We have been through multiple other companies in the last 25 years, and we have found that we like Direct Energy and that they are very responsive and provide excellent service. There was no out of pocket cost, as we have the annual Heating and Cooling 6 in 1 protection plan through Direct Energy

    Furnace Repair

    My furnace broke on one of the coldest days this winter. I called the company and explained that my circumstances were an emergency. I had a service technician arrive within 1 1/2 hours. He was courteous, professional, very helpful, explained the issues and promptly fixed the furnace. I was very happy with the service provided. husband is in a wheelchair

    Water heater rental

    You are locked into a rental contract with out a choice. You have to pay 32 dollars a month for this rental. I have had this water heater for two months and a part is broken already. They said the part would be here that day or the next. I have been without hot water now for four days and every time I talk to someone from direct energy they can't help me. They can't find the part, they don't know when it's coming. They can't put you through to a Manger they have to put a request in to have a Manger call you. They never call, so why not just replace the water heater ? They have to put a request in for that so in other word no one can or will do anything for you. Four day without hot water in the middle of winter and hours wasted on the phone with direct energy. Still no hot water and no one from their company has called me back but I'm expected to pay my monthly fees and deal with it.

    Furnace Maintenance

    I cannot understand how this company continues to do business. Their service is deplorable; with untrained, unknowledgeable customer service staff. Their technicians are rushed and the job is not thorough. I have moved all my services away from this company and I would encourage anyone reading this to do the same. I am fairly certain they survive because of their relationship with Enbridge and other large utility providers, using this position to direct market to customers. This company is a menace and you should take your business ANYWHERE else.

    RWH Service

    The mechanic arrived at the time slot agreed upon. He diagnosed the problem, which he did clearly explain to me, and he quickly carried out the necessary repairs that need to be done to fix it.

    HVAC

    Since 2003 Direct Energy people have installed and serviced the equipment in this home, at no time have we ever been offended or upset in their services. Job well done!

    Furnace, Water Heater

    Considering it isn't a dream to buy a new furnace, I couldn't be happier. From the first call to the end of the install, the Sales Rep was respectful, friendly, knowledgeable and ethical. The installers were friendly, knowledgeable, hard working and determined. My installation was a really unusual one, and they figured out how to get it done cheerfully, professionally and effectively. Great from start to finish. I wa anticipating a necessary but unpleasant experience. I never thought purchasing a furnace could be an enjoyable experience - but it was and I am very very happy. Wouldn't call anyone else.
